TikToker Nara Smith Reveals Name of Baby No. 4

Nara Smith is unveiling her latest naming creation.

The TikTok star and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, recently announced the name of their fourth child, Fawnie Golden Smith, in a heartwarming social media update. The couple also share three other children: Rumble Honey, 5, Slim Easy, 3, and Whimsy Lou, 18 months.

Nara shared a TikTok on October 13th with videos of her new baby, and playfully asked her followers, “Who guessed right?”

The 24-year-old is famous for choosing unusual baby names, but a lot of her fans think she finally picked a good one this time around.

One commenter described Fawnie Golden Smith as “so cute,” adding that her name sounds like it belongs to a Disney princess from *Sleeping Beauty*.

Another comment read, “I was bracing myself but the name is LOVELY.”

Lots of fans responded to the post with pictures of baby deer, and one person commented, “The whimsical girls understand.”

Nara and Lucky Blue recently welcomed a new baby, announcing the arrival on October 11th. Fans were eager to learn the baby’s name, especially after Nara had previously shared some names she didn’t choose back in June. Lucky Blue also has an 8-year-old son, Gravity Blue Smith, with his ex, Stormi Bree.

Nara shared in a video that she’s expecting her fourth child and is six months pregnant. She mentioned that finding a name is becoming more challenging, as each of her children has a very distinct name, and she wanted to share some names she likes but won’t be using for the new baby.

She was considering several names for her baby, including Moss, Goody, Dare, Champ, and Sundae for a boy, and Twinkle, Velvet, Berry, and Shimmer for a girl.

She also mentioned they considered the name Butter, but her partner, Lucky, disliked it so much they didn’t even include it on their list of potential names.

I always say, own your choices, and that’s exactly what Nara does! She’s got a fantastic sense of humor too – she even joked about adding some seriously fun options like lyrics from Benson Boone’s ‘Mystical Magical’ to her list, playfully suggesting ‘Moonbeam’ and ‘Ice Cream’ as possibilities. It’s all about embracing a little whimsy, you know?

“I think that that’s just so beautiful,” she joked. “I’m just joking, I’ve seen the comments.”

I’m always fascinated by the unique names celebrities choose for their kids, and Nara’s definitely turned heads! If you’re as curious as I am about other unusual celebrity baby names, here’s what I’ve found…

Gwyneth Paltrow shared with Oprah Winfrey that her daughter’s unique name, Apple, was actually chosen by Chris Martin. Paltrow explained that when they found out they were having a girl, Martin suggested the name, and she loved it. She thought ‘Apple’ sounded sweet and created a beautiful image, reminding her of the fruit’s wholesome nature and its biblical connections.

In May 2020, Elon Musk and Grimes announced the birth of their son, originally naming him X Æ A-12. Because California law only allows names using English alphabet letters, they later changed the spelling to X Æ A-Xii to comply with the rules.

Grimes explained the meaning behind the name of her child, X, on Twitter. She said ‘X’ represents the unknown, and ‘Æ’ is her unique way of spelling ‘AI,’ which stands for both love and artificial intelligence. She also connected ‘A-12’ to the SR-17 aircraft, describing it as a fast, unarmed vehicle meant for speed, and effective in combat without being violent.

Grimes revealed that her favorite song is titled “A=Archangel,” adding a rat and sword emoji and simply stating, “Metal rat.”

In March 2022, she announced they had welcomed daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk via surrograte.

She explained that ‘Exa’ comes from the term ‘exaFLOPS,’ which describes a computer’s ability to perform an incredibly high number of calculations – one quintillion per second. As for ‘Dark,’ she said it represents the unknown. While people often fear it, darkness is simply the lack of light. She described dark matter as a fascinating enigma of the universe.

Sideræl (pronounced sigh-deer-ee-el) represents universal time, measured by the stars and deep space, rather than time as we experience it on Earth. The name is also a reference to Galadriel, a character from *The Lord of the Rings*, who chooses to give up the One Ring.

Cardi B and Offset welcomed their daughter in 2018. 

The rapper behind “Bodak Yellow” explained her daughter’s name, Kulture, saying she couldn’t have chosen anything more common. Interestingly, Kulture’s middle name, Kiari, is the first name of her partner, a member of the Migos.

Shay Mitchell described how she thought she’d experienced a lot in her 32 years—many places, people, and types of love—until her daughter arrived. She admitted she never knew she could love someone so deeply before becoming a mother.

Daughter Rome filled out their roster in 2022. 

In 2014, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling welcomed their daughter, Esmeralda Amada. Eva explained in an interview with *The Violet Files* that they chose the name Esmeralda because they both admired the character from Victor Hugo’s novel, *The Hunchback of Notre Dame*, finding it a beautiful name. Amada, she shared, was her grandmother’s name and means ‘beloved’ in Spanish.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes repeated the naming pattern with their second daughter, Amada Lee Gosling, born in 2016.

After some difficulty choosing the perfect name, the couple finally revealed their son’s name – Aire – a year after he was born in 2022.

Actors Alexa and Carlos PenaVega chose the name Ocean King for their first child, inspired by their religious beliefs. Carlos explained that the name references a passage in the Bible where God names the land and seas, and that ‘King’ represents God. They felt the name held a beautiful and meaningful connection to their faith.

The name of Steph and Ayesha Curry’s third child means both “officiant of the church” and “young wolf.”

Diplo decided to name his second son after his electronic dance music trio, Major Lazer. 

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed their daughter, Luna Simone, in 2016. Chrissy shared on *The Ellen DeGeneres Show* that they named her after a stunning blood moon that appeared just before Luna was born. Jamie Oliver, the well-known British chef, and his wife, Juliette Norton, recently welcomed their fourth child, and his name fits right in with the rest of the family! Their other children have uniquely charming names like Poppy Honey, Daisy Boo, River Rocket, and Petal Blossom Rainbow, so Buddy’s arrival continues the tradition.

I still remember when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt first introduced their daughter to the world back in 2006 – her name is so beautiful, meaning either “Messiah” or “Peaceful One.” They’ve built such a lovely family, and I’ve followed their journey with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and the twins, Vivienne and Knox, for years now.

Antonio Sabato Jr. and his former wife, Cheryl Moana Marie Nunes, chose a meaningful middle name for their first child. The name comes from Hawaiian and means “a beloved gift from the heavens.”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden named their son Sparrow partly because of a Disney character. Richie explained that she liked the name from Captain Jack Sparrow, and her husband liked it for his own reasons, and they both had to agree on a name.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes named their daughter Suri after finding the name in a baby-naming book. Cruise explained to Vanity Fair that they had already chosen the name, anticipating a girl. They liked the sound of ‘Suri Cruise’ and later discovered the name meant ‘red rose,’ which they considered a happy coincidence. They felt the name was simply perfect for their daughter.

As a lifestyle expert, I always find it fascinating when parents choose unique names for their children, and Jason Lee really took the cake with his first! He was a big fan of the band Grandaddy and actually named his son after one of their songs, “He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s the Pilot.” It’s definitely a memorable choice!

 

For her firstborn daughter’s name, Geri Halliwell was inspired by flowers.
