The new game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, is a gacha spin-off that will launch on PlayStation 5 first, before being released on mobile devices. It will be available on PS5 for a limited time as a console exclusive.
As expected, the game will showcase the unique features of the PlayStation, as you can see in the short trailer included here.
One benefit is full support for all the DualSense controller’s features, like its realistic vibrations and adjustable triggers.
Here’s what the press release says:
The new video aims to immerse players in the world of Britannia with engaging gameplay and realistic controller feedback. It highlights how the game uses PlayStation 5 features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to make combat and exploration more exciting, building anticipation among console gamers before its release.
Sony is hoping this new game will be successful, joining other popular games of its kind – like Wuthering Waves and Zenless Zone Zero – that are already available on its console.
The competition is really tough, but Netmarble has created a visually stunning open-world game, based on what we’ve seen so far.
We’re wondering if this new adaptation will stay popular for a while, especially since it’s based on a manga series that’s already finished.
