Tom Holland is raising a glass to Zendaya.
Zendaya, and her mother, Nikki Holland, were the inspiration behind Tom Holland’s new line of shandy drinks for his non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero. This was revealed after Law Roach playfully hinted earlier this year that Zendaya and the ‘Cherry’ actor (Tom Holland) had gotten married.
Tom shared in a June 1st interview with Forbes that the shandy was originally his mother’s suggestion. He explained that Zendaya doesn’t drink alcohol and wasn’t a fan of the beers they offered.
Because of this, Tom, age 30, and his team aimed to build something genuine within the company that employees would appreciate.
The new line of non-alcoholic shandy drinks will feature flavors like classic lemon lime, grapefruit, elderflower, and blackberry yuzu. Zendaya, 27, already has a favorite – she loves the grapefruit flavor so much that her husband, Tom, is not allowed to drink it at home, according to an interview with Forbes.
The new elderflower shandy wasn’t inspired by just Zendaya and his mom; it also honors his grandmother, who always loved that flavor.
Tom started Bero in 2024, following his decision to stop drinking in 2022. He believes this choice has greatly improved both his personal life and his work.
Tom recently told USA Today that his drinking was harming his career. He explained that the stress of being an actor and living in the public eye was significant, and alcohol only made things worse for him personally.

Tom soon realized he had strong support from everyone he cared about, like his friends and Zendaya.
It’s just… amazing, honestly. All my friends, they’ve totally changed! I had everyone over the other night – usually, those nights were wild. We’d be up until all hours, absolutely hammered, and suffering the next day. But this time? I had ten of my closest mates at my place, and not a single one of them even touched a drink. It’s like, a completely different vibe now, and I’m so proud of them all. It’s incredible to see how much things have changed!
The actor, who starred in The Odyssey, explained that everyone felt fully engaged and energized. They didn’t experience any lingering tiredness the next day, and they’ve generally seen a positive impact on their life.
