Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is coming to Xbox Game Pass soon — and one of the service’s biggest-ever hits is returning, too

In July 2025, the initial batch of games arriving on Xbox Game Pass will feature another first-party debut. On Tuesday, Xbox Wire disclosed information about the upcoming titles, unveiling that alongside Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, gamers can anticipate several popular titles making a comeback.

Among these returning games is High on Life by Squanch Games, which initially joined Xbox Game Pass upon its release in December 2022. At that time, it broke records as the largest third-party launch ever on Xbox Game Pass, a title it retained until Palworld debuted in January 2024.

With High on Life 2 set to be released this coming winter following its announcement at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, it’s an opportune moment for those who missed out on the original game years ago.

Beyond High on Life, The Ascent will also reappear on Xbox Game Pass, offering players another chance to explore a cyberpunk world within an action-RPG setting.

What’s leaving Xbox Game Pass on July 15, 2025?

At mid-month, as usual, several games will be exiting the subscription service. To continue enjoying these games, you’ll have to purchase them. However, you’ll receive a discount if you buy them before they officially depart. Here are the games set to leave Xbox Game Pass on July 15:

This version maintains the original meaning but aims to make it more engaging and easier for the reader to understand the message.

  • Flock
  • Mafia Definitive Edition
  • Magical Delicacy
  • Tchia
  • The Callisto Protocol
  • The Case of the Golden Idol

Some great games, with some notable departures

A few weeks back, I got to revisit Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, though my current skills are quite rusty. I’m excited to brush up on them!

It’s important to mention that, like many games, you can get early access by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition. This version also comes with the DOOM Slayer and a demonic skater known as the Revenant. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can simply buy the upgrade instead.

In case you haven’t already, don’t forget to snatch up anything from the subscription library that’s about to disappear, such as The Case of the Golden Idol, a critically-acclaimed point-and-click mystery game.

Personally, I’m more fond of The Callisto Protocol than many others might be. If you appreciate high-budget survival horror games but have been hesitant to try it, I’d encourage you to give it a shot before it vanishes.
