Tori Kelly and André Murillo are expanding their little family.
In a delightful video posted on her YouTube channel, titled “Let’s create…”, the artist known for “Paper Hearts” revealed that she and her husband, who have been married for seven years, are excitedly anticipating their first child together.
In the video featuring Tori, age 32, singing an unheard song by Tori, she and André, aged 35, are captured in intimate moments such as hand-holding, kissing, hugging, and sharing tender instances. At the conclusion of the video, the lyrics sung by Tori hint at a major revelation.
She expresses, ‘I’ve conquered all challenges,’ musically. ‘I’m fully prepared for the future,’ she adds, eagerly anticipating, ‘It’s time to start a family.’
Certainly, the singer known for the hit “Dear No One” (who’s now on tour with Ed Sheeran) can hardly hide her excitement about growing her family.
This year has been incredibly rewarding for her, as she shared with People in an article on July 9. The highlights have included performing in stadiums throughout the summer, composing deeply personal songs, and now embarking on parenthood alongside her wonderful spouse.
In Tori’s words, “We’re incredibly thankful for the future and can hardly wait to encounter this divine blessing.
The couple have undeniably navigated tough times to arrive at this blissful stage of their relationship. In 2023, Tori faced a grave health crisis when she collapsed due to severe blood clots and ended up in the hospital. Her condition was extremely critical, and those were described by her as “terrifying days.” Throughout it all, her husband stood by her side.
Tori mentioned in her post that her family provided unwavering support during her recovery. She felt tranquil through the majority of the ordeal and is now feeling fantastic. Medical professionals are still keeping an eye on her, but she’s feeling terrific overall.
Tori and André have recently achieved a significant landmark in their relationship, nearly ten years after they started dating in 2016. They officially became husband and wife in May 2018, a day the former American Idol contestant described as “absolutely enchanting.
Tori happily shared in a now-removed post about her special day, expressing that being adored but not understood can offer a sense of ease, yet it’s shallow. The deepest apprehension comes from being recognized and not cherished. However, to be completely understood and genuinely appreciated is much like experiencing God’s love.
