When someone mentioned Toy Story 5, director Andrew Stanton jokingly replied, “Just a small project.” He also clarified that the team wasn’t currently facing a stressful deadline, saying they had already moved past that phase.

We’re nearing the end of production, with the post-production phase starting in about three weeks. That will take roughly a month, and then we’ll finalize the scoring, completing the film. It’s been a challenging experience working on these two movies at the same time.
