Denshattack generated a lot of excitement when it was first revealed at Gamescom in August, and the newest gameplay trailer shows it’s still looking incredibly enjoyable.
It looks like a long-lost PS2 game that would’ve been revered as a cult classic:
In this game, you control a train speeding through different levels, performing impressive stunts similar to those in the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.
Levels will offer different challenges: some will focus on how quickly you can finish, others on performing impressive tricks for a high score, and a few will pit you against tough boss battles.

It’s visually striking, with a strong art style that’s clearly influenced by manga and Japanese culture.
We had a quick chance to try it out at Gamescom and were really impressed. You can find our detailed review here.
The trailer announced a release date of Spring 2026, meaning the game is coming soon! Are you looking forward to playing Denshattack? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
