A new Tron: Ares popcorn bucket lets moviegoers take home their own light cycle.
Tron: Ares marks the third film in Disney’s Tron saga, with the storyline originating from the 1982 movie Tron directed by Steven Lisberger. Its first sequel, Tron: Legacy, hit screens in 2010. Additionally, a Disney Television Animation series titled Tron: Uprising debuted in 2012 and ran for 19 episodes.
Mistress of Evil (2019) and Young Woman and the Sea (2024). This film, featuring Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, and others in the cast, is set to hit U.S. theaters and IMAX screens next month.

Through a Twitter post, the Regal Cinemas official account displays their exciting new Tron: Ares popcorn bucket. The accompanying text says, “Experience Tron: Ares and fuse your realms with our collectible Lightcycle popcorn container! Available in theaters starting October 10. Be quick to grab one at certain locations, while stock lasts.

Alongside Jeff Bridges, Gillian Anderson, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Cameron Monaghan, the movie also features a stellar ensemble cast. For production, Leto, Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger took on producer roles, with Russell Allen assuming an executive producer position. The movie’s score is courtesy of Nine Inch Nails.
The plot of the film, Tron: Ares, introduces us to a complex digital entity named Ares, who ventures from the digital realm into our physical world for a perilous assignment. This event represents the initial human interaction with artificial intelligence entities.
