In a recent announcement from brand producer Loic Gounon, it’s confirmed that Rayman is returning! Ubisoft Montpellier and Milan are collaborating on the development of this iconic IP. Even though we might not hear any news right away, take comfort in knowing that Rayman is being well cared for. Feel free to watch the video below for more details.
Last year in October, whispers about a potential new Rayman game emerged, and these rumors picked up speed when Ubisoft announced they were exploring possibilities for the brand. Additional job postings suggested that a high-profile game within the series was being developed, but its current status remains uncertain.
Rayman Legends serves as the primary, critically acclaimed game within the Rayman series, which was launched in August 2013. Interestingly, a narrative-driven expansion pack for Rayman is also included in the game Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, despite the fact that this turn-based strategy title did not meet its publisher’s anticipated success level.
During this period, Ubisoft is planning to honor Rayman’s 30th birthday by sharing concept art, interviews with the creative teams, and exclusive backstage information. Keep an eye out for further announcements.
