Tonight, the Eurovision stage was buzzing with excitement as 26 contestants gave it their best shot at claiming the title, among them being the United Kingdom.

Where did the UK come in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025?

In the grand scheme of things, I didn’t see the outcome that many fans were anticipating, as my country, the United Kingdom, ended up in 19th position with a total of 88 points.

The jury’s votes were remarkably strong, placing the trio in 10th position following the jury evaluation round.

Regrettably, my chosen films fell flat with the audience, earning no points from the general vote and plummeting in rankings.

This implies that the UK’s position this year was one step behind its placement from the previous year, with Olly Alexander ending up in 18th position and receiving far less points – only 44.

Prior to their show, Monday expressed: “Goodness Gracious, What Transpired Here? That’s pretty much how we feel at the moment! Everything feels quite unreal; our bond dates back so long, and frankly, we never envisioned ourselves participating in something like this.

As children, if someone asked us about our future aspirations, many of us might have replied with “I want to become a pop star.” So, it’s absolutely surreal and exciting for us, being friends, to actually be living out this dream together.

We’re absolutely thrilled to join forces with a multitude of talented artists globally! Our hope is to make everyone watching from afar swell with pride. In essence, this is like the World Cup of music, and we aim to bring victory back home!
