Upcoming Pokemon Go Event Offers Perfect Opportunity to Evolve This Tricky Pokemon

Players in Pokémon Go always have plenty of chances to join Raid battles. However, Special Raid Days are particularly exciting as they feature numerous Raids for specific types of Pokémon. These events often draw local players together for a Shiny hunt and the chance to catch a powerful Pokémon. Sometimes, new Pokémon like the upcoming Mega Sharpedo are introduced during these events. This upcoming Pokémon Go event also offers an extraordinary opportunity that trainers won’t want to skip.

On September 7th, Mega Sharpedo is set to make its debut during the Mega Sharpedo Raid Day event in Pokémon Go. From 2 PM to 5 PM local time, you can find Mega Sharpedo in Raids across the Pokémon Go map. This event offers a unique chance to meet Mega Sharpedo for the first time and hunt for Shiny Sharpedo. However, there’s an additional opportunity that trainers shouldn’t overlook – a smoother path for evolving Kubfu into Urshifu.

How to Evolve Kufbu into Urshifu

Previously, Kubfu was unable to evolve within Pokemon Go. However, during the GO Battle Week event in May, Urshifu made its appearance. As a result, trainers now have the ability to evolve Kubfu into two distinct Urshifu forms within the game. Yet, similar to many other evolutions in the game, this process is unique. Therefore, to make it happen, you’ll need to accomplish certain tasks with Kubfu as your buddy first.

In the exciting world of Pokemon Go, your Kubfu can transform into either Rapid Strike Urshifu or Single Strike Urshifu. Although they share some similarities, their Buddy Evolution requirements have subtle differences.

1. Rapid Strike Urshifu: To accomplish this evolution, walk with your Kubfu as your buddy for a total of 10 kilometers. Then, during a Raid Battle against a Dynamax Urho-zuon, use an Elite Charged TM (Technical Machine) on your Kubfu to transform it into Rapid Strike Urshifu.

2. Single Strike Urshifu: First, walk with your Kubfu as your buddy for a total of 10 kilometers. Then, during a Raid Battle against a Dynamax Zacian or Zamazenta (depending on the version of the game you’re playing), use an Elite Fast TM on your Kubfu to evolve it into Single Strike Urshifu.

  • Single Strike Urshifu – Defeat 30 Dark-Type Pokemon in Raids or Max Battles with Kubfu as your Buddy
  • Rapid Strike Urshifu – Defeat 30 Water-Type Pokemon in Raids or Max Battles with Kubfu as your Buddy

In simple terms, many Pokémon Go players believe that Single Strike Urshifu is the top choice for battles. If you’re starting out, this might be the one to begin with. However, if your goal is to fill your PokeDex, you’ll eventually need to evolve Kubfu into both its forms. This is where Mega Sharpedo Raid Day can be helpful.

Why You Should Make Kubfu Your Buddy on Mega Sharpedo Raid Day

As a dedicated Pokémon trainer, I’m thrilled to share that Mega Sharpedo, the formidable Water and Dark-type Pokémon, is here! Engaging in battles with Mega Sharpedo during Raids significantly boosts your journey towards both forms of Kubfu. So, if you’re up for a challenge during the Mega Sharpedo Raid Day Event, you could potentially evolve two Kubfus into both versions of Urshifu! However, remember that one Kubfu can only transform into one form, so make sure to have two Kubfus ready. Happy training, trainers!

As a fellow Pokémon Go enthusiast, I’m excited to share some insider tips for the upcoming Mega Sharpedo Raid Day on September 7th, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time!

If you’re looking to level up your Kubfu, this event isn’t the only chance, but it presents a swift and straightforward method to conquer numerous Water- and Dark-type Raids in no time. Plus, with more players joining Raid parties during these special events, teaming up becomes easier than ever to take down the Raid boss!

So, don’t forget to make Kubfu your buddy if you plan on participating in this exciting adventure – it could be a game-changer for your Pokémon Go experience!

If you’ve already evolved your Kubfu or don’t have one available, there are other Pokémon with Buddy Evolution requirements that can be fulfilled during Mega Sharpedo Raid Day. An alternative option to take advantage of this Raid Day is to evolve Bisharp into Kingambit by battling Dark-type Pokémon in Raids.

This version maintains the original meaning and tries to use simpler language that is easy to read for a broad audience.
