US crime procedural that’s one of the best gets new UK streaming home on Netflix

All five seasons of the popular sci-fi show, Person of Interest, are now streaming on Netflix, so you can watch them all at once!

The show originally ran on CBS from 2011 to 2016. It centered on Harold Finch (played by Michael Emerson), a secretive billionaire computer programmer who created a powerful program. This program could gather information from all available sources to foresee terrorist attacks and pinpoint those planning them.

Nathan Finch recruits John Reese, a skilled ex-CIA agent, to investigate and prevent ordinary crimes. He’s joined by Lionel Fusco, a former NYPD detective, and Joss Carter, a US Army veteran, to carry out this work.

The series featured a talented cast including Amy Acker, known for ‘Angel,’ Sarah Shahi from ‘Paradise,’ Sterling K. Brown of ‘This Is Us,’ Carrie Preston (‘The Good Wife’), Winston Duke (‘Black Panther’), and Leslie Odom Jr. (‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’), alongside Emerson and Caviezel.

The TV show Person of Interest was developed by Jonathan Nolan, brother of filmmaker Christopher Nolan. Jonathan Nolan later created Westworld, a science fiction drama set in a dystopian Western world.

The show was popular while it aired and continues to be highly rated, boasting a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Every season except the first has earned a perfect ‘fresh’ rating of 100%.

Nolan worked with Emerson again on the Prime Video series Fallout, where he served as an executive producer and director. He’s spoken enthusiastically about how much he enjoyed the experience of collaborating with Emerson again.

I was so excited to be on my 104th TV episode with Michael – it’s something I’m really proud of, as I told Screen Rant.

I was so happy Michael was eager to work with me again. He’s incredibly talented and a genuinely wonderful person, so I was always hoping we’d find another project together.
