Vanessa Hudgens isn’t sticking to the status quo when it comes to postpartum comfort.
Vanessa Hudgens, known for her role in High School Musical, recently shared how she’s recovering after giving birth to her second child with husband Cole Tucker on November 29th.
Vanessa, 36, shared a selfie on Instagram Stories November 30th, showing herself relaxing at home in oversized pajamas and a necklace. Her hair was styled in a bun. She captioned the photo, saying she was enjoying a cozy day at home.
Just a day before, the actress from Tick, Tick… Boom!—who also shares a 16-month-old son (whose name hasn’t been released) with her husband Cole, 29—shared a photo from her hospital bed celebrating the birth of their child. The photo showed her holding hands with Cole, whom she’s been married to for almost two years.
She announced the arrival of her new baby on Instagram, calling labor “a wild ride.” She also gave a shout-out to all mothers, marveling at the amazing things our bodies are capable of.
Vanessa, who revealed she was expecting in July, recently shared how becoming a parent has significantly altered her daily life, especially when it comes to managing her time.

“I don’t even know what ‘balance’ means,” she said to TopMob News last August. “Life is hectic, and time is so valuable. I tend to go all-in on whatever I’m doing, completely focusing on one thing at a time. So, I suppose you could call that my version of balance, even if it seems extreme.”
Nonetheless, the “Say OK” singer noted that she makes a point to “slow down and enjoy the moment.”

She went on to say that it’s common to get caught up thinking about the future – telling yourself you’ll be happy when something happens, or that life will be simpler when certain conditions are met. However, she emphasized that true happiness lies in focusing on and appreciating the present moment.
Now that Vanessa is enjoying her new baby, let’s take a look back at her and Cole’s journey to becoming parents.

Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker first publicly shared a photo together on Instagram for Valentine’s Day in 2021. This came after rumors began circulating three months earlier about their relationship, which started with a romantic dinner in Los Angeles. Hudgens captioned the photo, “It’s you, it’s me, it’s us. @cotuck.”

The couple first appeared together on the red carpet at the premiere of Vanessa’s musical during the 2021 AFI Fest in Hollywood, California.

The two also attended the premiere of the Netflix movie in New York City.

“Happy vday from us crazies,” Vanessa captioned this Instagram pic.

They saw John Mayer perform at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles as part of the SiriusXM and Pandora Small Stage Series.

The pair walked the carpet at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards in Santa Monica, Calif.

As a lifestyle expert, I always love seeing how couples support each other’s dreams! Back in 2022, on MLB’s opening day, I shared a sweet post for my then-partner, who was playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates. I simply called him ‘my king’ – a little way to show him I was cheering him on from the sidelines as he started a new season.

The actress was spotted at the baseball field with her partner, who plans to retire in May 2025.

“Happy Halloween from Sting and Miss Argentina,” Vanessa captioned this Instagram pic.

“Merry af,” Vanessa captioned this Instagram photo.

Vanessa and Cole announced their engagement on February 9th with a photo showing Vanessa wearing an engagement ring. They shared the news on Instagram with a simple message: “YES! We couldn’t be happier.”

Vanessa playfully suggested running away to get married after getting frustrated with wedding planning. She confessed on The Drew Barrymore Show that finding a venue was proving difficult, and she was feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do.

I was so thrilled to hear that Vanessa and her partner got married on December 2nd in beautiful Tulum, Mexico! It was a really intimate ceremony with around 100 of their closest people – family and friends, of course. It was amazing to see Sarah Hyland and Alexandra Shipp as bridesmaids, and a total treat to find out that Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel from High School Musical were there to celebrate with her too! Such a special day for everyone involved.

Cole marked Vanessa’s first birthday since their marriage with a sweet message, simply writing, “Happy birthday to my wife!!!!!!”

Vanessa revealed she was expecting a baby at the 2024 Oscars, debuting her growing bump in a black Vera Wang gown.

I was so thrilled to hear the news! A source told TopMob News on July 3rd that Vanessa and her partner welcomed their first baby. It’s wonderful news, and I’m sending them all my best wishes.

Vanessa and Cole shared exciting news in July 2025: they’re expecting another baby! They announced it on Instagram with the message, “Round two!”
