Vera Wang, 76, Shows Off Figure in Bra Top and Low-Rise Skirt

Vera Wang is proving that age doesn’t matter when it comes to taking fashion risks.

At the 2026 Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York City on June 11th, 76-year-old fashion designer made a striking impression with her daring outfit as she arrived at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

Wang turned heads in a stunning black two-piece outfit she designed herself – a bra top paired with a long, sheer skirt. The look showcased her figure, highlighting her curves and midriff thanks to the skirt’s low rise and the visible straps across her stomach. Pants were worn underneath the skirt for coverage.

I absolutely loved Wang’s outfit! It was so bold and fun. She really pulled off a daring look, completing it with these gorgeous pastel blue gloves and, of course, her iconic oversized sunglasses. But the best part? Her hair! She styled it in these adorable pigtail buns – it was the perfect playful touch!

Before attending the event, Wang shared photos of her outfit on social media. In a June 11th Instagram post, she wrote, “ALL GUSSIED UP…” and announced she was heading to THE FRAGRANCE FOUNDATION AWARDS 2026.

And fans couldn’t get enough of Wang’s sexy ensemble.

One person raved about the outfit, saying they especially loved the Tiffany blue color and the overall style. Another fan simply said Wang “nailed it.”

Another social media fan complimented Wang’s stylish look, saying it reminded them of Audrey Hepburn.

Even actress Sharon Stone complimented Wang’s outfit, enthusiastically commenting “Girllllllll come onnnnn” with a string of clapping emojis on a later post.

Of course, Wang’s commitment to taking fashion risks with skin-baring looks isn’t new.

Her outfit for the Fragrance Foundation Awards followed a similar style to what she wore at the 2026 Met Gala. At the May 4th event, Wang – sporting platinum blonde hair – turned heads in a striking black avant-garde gown that highlighted her fit figure. The look included a black bandeau top and a skirt that showed off her abs.

Following a glamorous appearance at the recent event, Vera Wang – known for always looking youthful – will celebrate her 77th birthday on June 27th.

As for her anti-aging secret?

In a recent interview with TopMob News, Wang shared that he believes hard work is incredibly valuable. He explained that staying busy with work is a good way to stay focused and engaged, both mentally and physically.

To see what more celebrities had to say about aging, read on.

She explained to Self magazine that she doesn’t focus on whether aging makes someone look better or worse—it simply means things are changing. And she feels that’s perfectly natural, because life itself is all about change.

It’s impossible to stop aging; we all do! Many women feel like they’ve failed if they show signs of getting older, as if they should still look young forever. But I think aging is something to be grateful for – it’s a privilege that not everyone experiences, she explained to Access Hollywood.

As someone who’s observed societal patterns for years, I’ve noticed a frustrating cycle: whenever women make progress, there’s often a backlash, a new set of expectations designed to hold us back. Right now, I’m seeing that play out with unrealistic beauty standards – it feels like there’s intense pressure to stay eternally young and maintain a ‘perfect’ body, and even judgment around natural things like pregnancy. Honestly, it’s a clever way to control people by making them self-conscious and ashamed of their own bodies. But I, for one, am choosing to reject that shame and embrace being human – flaws and all!

Turning 40 made me realize I’ve grown into a more self-accepting person, and it feels really good,” she shared with Harper’s Bazaar.

You know, as a lifestyle expert, people often ask me if I regret how my body has changed over the years. Honestly? I’m happier with it now than I was in my twenties! It’s not about being ‘better’ aesthetically – sure, at 22 or 23 things looked different – but this body feels earned. I’ve worked for it, and that makes all the difference. Back then, I was constantly comparing myself to others and never truly enjoyed how I looked. Now, I have a much healthier relationship with my body because it reflects my effort and commitment.

I’m okay with getting older and the changes that come with it, like wrinkles and gravity taking effect. It’s a small price to pay for gaining experience and becoming wiser. Even if my body changes significantly, I won’t be concerned, as she shared with Bustle.

“F–k you. I’m 50. That’s what I’m going to say when I turn 50. Sorry,” as she told Popsugar

After living for 60 years, I’ve learned that being fearless is incredibly important. For a long time, I let fear hold me back, and now it’s one of my biggest regrets, as I shared with PopSugar.

It’s funny how your perspective on age changes. When you’re young, older ages seem so far off! But then you reach those milestones – like turning 28 or 42 – and they turn out to be wonderful. With each new age comes the wisdom to appreciate and enjoy it, as she explained to Bustle.

“I do think about ageing. I have those moments of panic and vanity, but life keeps getting better, so you can’t worry about it too much,” she told Marie Claire UK.

She told Ok! Magazine that she doesn’t believe in aging, but rather in growing wiser and gaining knowledge, which she considers true beauty.

“Age holds absolutely no fear for me. There is so much enjoyment ahead,” as she told MarieClaire.

She expressed surprise that some people don’t believe women become more attractive with age. She explained to Net-a-Porter Magazine that this beauty stems from growing confidence, and that self-assurance is what truly makes someone beautiful.

Ugh, it just bugs me when people lie about their age! It’s like they’re refusing to be real, and it’s part of this bigger problem where everyone’s trying to be someone they’re not. Honestly, I truly believe that you can only live a full, amazing life when you fully embrace who you are, exactly as you are. She said it perfectly in O Magazine – it’s all about owning your truth!

We can’t stop getting older, but we can control how we approach it. Looking at her own face, the author sees a reflection of her entire life – every wrinkle and line tells a story. As the saying goes, our outer appearance shows what’s inside. Someone who doesn’t smile much may develop a downturned face, while a joyful person will have lines from years of smiling. Wrinkles aren’t flaws; they represent experiences and create a personal history etched onto our skin. Her face holds memories of every journey she’s taken, exposed to the elements along the way, so she wonders why anyone would want to erase them.

She told Glamour that as women age, they often become more comfortable and confident with their sexuality. It’s less about feeling embarrassed or intimidated, and more about embracing it as a natural part of growing older and becoming more at ease with themselves.
