Rumors are swirling at fan conventions about which characters might die in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. This massive Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover will unite almost all of its heroes against Doctor Doom and his dangerous schemes. Given the already fragile state of the Multiverse due to the Incursions, it’s expected that not everyone will survive the battle.
Sebastian Stan sparked a rumor about possible character deaths in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While at a Comic-Con event in Tokyo, the actor, known for playing Bucky Barnes, playfully suggested that some beloved characters might not survive the next installment.
So What Can We Expect?

When asked what he was most looking forward to in Doomsday, Stan admitted he couldn’t say much. He said he didn’t know what would happen and joked that they’d see who survived. He then revealed his real excitement: Robert Downey Jr.’s return, adding that Downey Jr. is sure to deliver something special for fans.
Channing Tatum, who plays Gambit, recently told People magazine that Doomsday is a very intense and emotional film. This has led some to believe Marvel will continue its trend of killing off a major character in each Avengers movie. He also emphasized how incredibly impressive the scale of Doomsday is, saying it will leave audiences amazed. Tatum believes the Russo brothers have set a high standard for themselves and that each new Marvel film needs to be even bigger than the last. He was shocked while reading the script, stating, “I don’t think anybody’s really going to understand how they did this,” and predicts it will be mind-blowing for viewers.
Doctor Doom is really going all out and isn’t pulling any punches against the Avengers, so no one is safe.
