Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage is now available on PS5. If you already have Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown on PS4, it’s definitely worth taking a look.
Players who already own the game can upgrade to World Stage for a low price – just $9.99 or £7.99 on the PlayStation Store.
I’m really excited about this game! It’s normally $19.99 or £15.99, but they also have a special ’30th Anniversary Edition’ for $49.99 or $39.99 which comes with all the DLC that’s been released before. Honestly, a lot of people, myself included, think that DLC should have been part of the main game from the start.

The PS5 re-release introduces a new single-player mode called World Stage. This mode lets you fight against AI opponents that are modeled after real players – it’s similar to the ‘Ghost’ data system used in Tekken 8.
We’ve improved the training mode, and now you can watch replays of your battles to see where you made mistakes. Plus, all online modes work with players on all platforms and use rollback netcode for smoother gameplay.
You can now play as Dural, the unusual boss character, if you’re interested. The game also has a new set of Trophies, but it doesn’t include a Platinum Trophy, so completing them might feel pointless unless you’re a dedicated completionist.
Are you planning to play World Stage? Will the PlayStation 5 version finally satisfy fans who have been eagerly awaiting the new Virtua Fighter game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
