Visions of Mana is Out Now

As a seasoned gamer with a nostalgic heart and a shelf full of Mana series games, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the release of Square Enix’s Visions of Mana. It’s been quite some time since we had a mainline title in this beloved franchise, and the wait has certainly been worth it.

The long-awaited main series installment of Square Enix’s “Mana” franchise, titled “Visions of Mana“, has finally been released. You can now play it on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Here is the launch trailer for your viewing pleasure:

In this game, players assume the role of a character named Val, who is a Soul Guard for his friend Hiina. Together they start an adventure towards the Mana Tree. Along their journey, characters such as Careena, Palamena, Morley, and Junei join them, each bringing distinct skills to the group. Additionally, players can find Elemental Vessels that allow for switching classes and modifying stats while using various types of attacks.

In addition to exploration features, such as moving large rocks with a Gnome Shovel, traversing using Shade Sight, and lighting up paths through the Lumina Lantern, these Vessels are renowned for their extensive content within the game series. Regrettably, Visions of Mana does not currently offer co-op multiplayer (however, this may change in the future). Keep an eye out for further updates until then.
