VPR’s Tom Sandoval Makes Rare Comment About Ex Ariana Madix

Tom Sandoval is raising his glass to the future.

As someone who follows celebrity relationships closely, I’ve been watching the dynamic between Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix since their very public split over two years ago. Recently, Tom finally opened up about where they stand now, after everything that happened with the cheating scandal. It’s interesting to hear his perspective after all this time.

Tom recently told Erin Lim Rhodes of TopMob News that he and his ex have both moved on. Speaking at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on November 14th, he said they’ve put the past behind them and it’s been nearly three years since they were together.

Since splitting up with her ex, the host of Love Island USA has started dating someone new, Daniel Wei. At the same time, Tom’s relationship with Victoria Lee Robinson seems to be going really well.

But it also helps that VPR has decided to follow a new cast of stars for the upcoming 12th season.

The singer, 42, explained that it’s refreshing to be away from the constant drama and negativity that often comes with being on a reality show. She appreciates having time to herself.

The news that Tom had an affair with his former colleague, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, became public in March 2023, during the filming of season 10 of the Bravo show. When he and Ariana split up, their breakup and everything that followed played out publicly.

Even though their time together on Traitors was ending and they wouldn’t be sharing drinks anymore, he’s publicly supporting his former partner and her new relationship.

Okay, so he said in an interview with TopMob last November that he thinks he seems like a genuinely good person! He admitted he hasn’t really seen them together much, but from what he has seen, they look so happy together! Honestly, it just makes me so happy for them, and I really, really hope things work out. I’m just rooting for their happiness, you know?

Ariana has been trying to find the positive side of her breakup, focusing on what she learned from the experience.

You know, hearing her say this just… wrecked me in the best way. She told TopMob back in May that she finally realized she can actually handle whatever life throws at her! It’s amazing because she admitted she used to be totally terrified of that – like, constantly worried about failing or falling apart. It’s just… so inspiring to see her finally feel strong like that. I’m seriously obsessed with her growth!

At 40, she’s entering an exciting new chapter, with several great opportunities coming her way. She recently made her Broadway debut in Chicago and is now hosting Love Island USA while living in Fiji.

Ariana recently shared with TopMob that she thrives when she’s busy. She finds that having a full schedule actually makes her feel more confident and capable, while having too much free time leaves her restless and wanting more to do.

Looking at her onstage debut, she gushed, “I’m so proud of myself for being able to do that.”
