Flat2VR Studios and VertexBreakers have launched VRacer Hoverbike, a virtual reality racing game, for PlayStation VR2. It’s available now for $29.99.
VRacer Hoverbike was initially released for the Rift platform on June 26, 2019. It later became available on Meta Quest and SteamVR on June 26th and June 30th, 2025, respectively.
Here is a brief overview of the game:
Okay, fellow VR fans, get ready! VRacer Hoverbike is finally here and it’s amazing! It’s built from the ground up for virtual reality, and honestly, it nails that feeling of pure speed you crave when you put on a headset. The coolest part? You steer by actually leaning your body – it feels so natural and like you’re really riding the hoverbike, without any of that uncomfortable motion sickness. It’s a totally immersive arcade racer!
Featuring 30 tracks, several game modes, and online multiplayer that works across different platforms, VRacer Hoverbike offers a lot to learn and enjoy. Plus, with PlayStation VR2 features like vibrant HDR visuals, responsive adaptive triggers, and immersive headset vibrations, every race feels more realistic and exciting than before. After years of improvements, VRacer Hoverbike is now perfectly suited for the PlayStation VR2.
