Flat2VR Studios and Kinemotik Studios have announced that their virtual reality rhythm game, Audio Trip, will be available on PlayStation VR2 starting November 11th.
Audio Trip was initially released on PC in October 2019, then became available on Rift later that month, and on Quest in May 2020.
Here is a brief overview of the game:
Today, Audio Trip was unveiled for PlayStation VR2, transforming your room into a dance floor. Each movement in the game has been carefully designed by a choreographer, ensuring that actions like collecting gems, following ribbons, and hitting drums all sync seamlessly with the music. Unlike some rhythm games, everything is created by hand – there’s no random generation – making you feel like you’re truly dancing within the song.
Okay, so this game has a TON of content – over 120 levels spread across 32 different tracks. But it doesn’t stop there! They’ve also got pre-made playlists, cardio workouts set to the music, and a bunch of achievements to keep me motivated. What’s really cool, though, is the choreography editor. Basically, the community can make and share their own routines, so there’s always something new to play, thanks to other players. It keeps things super fresh!
Playing Audio Trip on PlayStation VR2 offers a truly immersive experience with vibrant HDR visuals, rumbling headset feedback, and technology that focuses processing power where your eyes are looking, keeping everything sharp. It’s perfect whether you’re looking for a fun workout, a way to get lost in the music, or just want to master the dance moves to songs like “Gangnam Style.” This game takes rhythm-based gameplay to a new level of creativity.
