For me, the best part of the Super Bowl isn’t even the game itself! I always eagerly anticipate the movie trailers and commercials – and let’s not forget the Puppy Bowl! But what really gets me excited is knowing that a ton of trailers for shows and movies I’ve been waiting for are about to drop. With so many people watching, it’s the perfect time for studios to finally share what they’ve been working on.
With so many people watching the Super Bowl, it’s become a prime opportunity for movie studios to release new trailers. This strategy has proven successful for major franchises like Mission Impossible, Lilo & Stitch, and How to Train Your Dragon. Building on that success, we can expect some exciting trailers to be revealed during Super Bowl LVIII. Here’s a list of all the trailers from this year’s game.
Scream 7 (Already Released)
While it’s technically already been announced, the news that Matthew Lillard is joining the cast of the seventh Scream film is still a big deal! So far, marketing for the movie has been quiet, with only two trailers released. Don’t expect another trailer during the Super Bowl, though there’s a small chance we might get a glimpse of the Street Fighter movie. Scream 7 is currently set to come out on February 27, 2026.
Michael
The Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, is back on track after a two-year pause and will be in theaters this April. A teaser and trailer have already been released, with more promotional material potentially coming during the Super Bowl. The film is currently scheduled for release on April 24, 2026.
Project Hail Mary
Amazon MGM Studios revealed that a 30-second trailer for Project Hail Mary will air during the Super Bowl on Sunday, along with the film’s final trailer. Starring Ryan Gosling, Project Hail Mary is based on the popular novel by Andy Weir. This will be Amazon MGM’s second movie released in IMAX in just a few months, and it’s scheduled to hit theaters on March 20, 2026.
Jurassic Park x Xfinity
Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern – the original stars of Jurassic Park – are back, looking younger thanks to special effects, and are partnering with Xfinity and director Taika Waititi to quickly recap the classic Spielberg film.
Emma Stone is Unavailable (Squarespace)
Okay, so I just saw this really fun ad with Emma Stone for Squarespace. Basically, it’s hilarious because she acts out the absolute drama of trying to get a website domain name and finding out someone else already has it. It’s over the top and funny – she really sells the horror of it all! It’s a clever way to show how important it is to snag your perfect domain with Squarespace.
Kurt Russell Makes Lewis Pullman Cooler For Michelob ULTRA
In a new Michelob ULTRA ad, Lewis Pullman learns a thing or two about staying cool from Kurt Russell, all while hitting the slopes. The spot also features Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim and hockey legend T.J. Oshie.
Andy Samberg Slings Mayo for Hellmann’s
Andy Samberg is back with another funny commercial for Hellmann’s, this year featuring a character called Meal Diamond. It’s part of their playfully over-the-top celebration of sandwiches and, of course, mayonnaise, during the Big Game.

The MCU’s Thor imagines a world where AI-powered tech could be dangerous. What a wild leap…
Trailers We Expect to See at Super Bowl LX
Hoppers
Pixar’s newest movie is looking promising, with early predictions of a $50 million opening weekend in the US. The film, titled Hoppers and directed by Daniel Chong, tells the story of Mabel, a quirky animal lover who invents a robotic beaver to stop a construction company from destroying the homes of the animals she cares for. Hoppers is scheduled to come out on March 6, 2026. You can watch the first trailer here.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
As a huge Mario fan, I was so excited when the second trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie dropped a couple of weeks ago! It was the first time we got to see Yoshi, which was awesome. And get this – the movie is getting a spot during the big game, meaning even more Yoshi and adventure! The cast is already incredible with Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jack Black, but Brie Larson and Benny Safdie are joining the fun too. Mark your calendars – The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is coming out on April 1, 2026. Here’s that latest trailer if you want to check it out!
Disclosure Day
Steven Spielberg is back at the Super Bowl after a long absence, promoting his new film, Disclosure Day. A short, 30-second teaser will premiere during the 2026 Super Bowl, with the full trailer coming out a few weeks later. The film, starring a fantastic cast, tells the story of a whistleblower whose revelation of alien life throws the world into turmoil. Disclosure Day is set to hit theaters on June 12th, 2026. Check out the first teaser here!
The Mandalorian & Grogu
It’s been almost 7 years since the last Star Wars film, but Lucasfilm is back with a new story. The Mandalorian and Grogu, starring Pedro Pascal and directed by Jon Favreau, is set to launch the next chapter for the franchise. Plans include a re-release of the original Star Wars in February 2027, followed by Star Wars: Starfighter in May 2027. Following the pattern of the 2018 Solo: A Star Wars Story promotion, we expect The Mandalorian movie to get its own Super Bowl spot and a new trailer online soon. The film is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2026. Here’s a first look teaser trailer!
Toy Story 5
It’s been almost ten years since the last Toy Story movie, and many fans wondered if a fifth film would ever happen. Now, the first trailer for Toy Story 5 is here! The movie brings back Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and all our favorite toys for a new adventure. This time, they’re facing a unique challenge: kids’ obsession with screens, personified by a tablet character named Lilypad. While some believe the series has run its course, others are thrilled to revisit this beloved world. Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters on June 19, 2026. Check out the first trailer here!
Minions 3

I’m so excited for Minions 3! It’s been pretty quiet so far, but I heard the first full trailer is dropping during the Super Bowl, which is awesome. We don’t know much about the story or who’s going to be in it yet, but the buzz is that this time it’s about a whole new group of Minions going on their own adventure. Mark your calendars – it’s coming out on July 1, 2026!
What Won’t We See At Super Bowl LX?
Because Super Bowl commercials are so expensive, some movie studios choose not to advertise during the game, and this year will be no different. Despite Disney being present, Marvel won’t be showing anything for Avengers: Doomsday, even though rumors suggested a final teaser might appear. Sony is also skipping the game, meaning no Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer. And since Warner Bros. rarely advertises during the Super Bowl, we won’t see anything new from Dune 3, Mortal Kombat 2, Odyssey, or The Bride either.
