In the second season of “Watson,” there’s a possibility that a significant character might reappear, even though they were previously believed to have perished. Originating from the executive producer of “Elementary,” Craig Sweeny, this medical drama has Watson, portrayed by Morris Chestnut, taking center stage following the demise of Sherlock Holmes, with Watson now assuming the main role.
In the season 1 finale, John Watson confronted Moriarty, leading to the villain’s demise. However, as revealed by Sweeny in an interview with TV Insider, this may not be a permanent goodbye.
It’s not impossible; on the contrary, I think it could have a significant impact on Watson. As for Randall Park, I can’t imagine anyone else playing that role in our series. Frankly, I hope we get another chance to work with him.
