It’s hard to believe, but the PC version of No Rest for the Wicked has been in early access for two years now. The developers haven’t officially mentioned a console release in quite a while.
The dark and gritty action RPG, created by Moon Studios – the team behind the acclaimed game Ori and the Blind Forest – has been getting a lot of positive attention since it was first shown in 2023. It entered early access in April 2024, and has been significantly improved through several major updates since then.
Despite being released in early access, the game has now sold 1.7 million copies, according to a message from the developers at Moon Studios celebrating its second anniversary.
We’ve sold over 1.7 million copies – and the number is still growing! We appreciate your support, feedback, and encouragement to constantly improve. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
It continues: “We’re hard at work toward 1.0. And console players, we haven’t forgotten you.”
If you’re excited about No Rest for the Wicked coming to PS5, you’ll need to wait for the full game launch (version 1.0). Moon Studios hasn’t announced a specific date yet, but it’s likely to happen soon.
Have you checked out No Rest for the Wicked yet? If you’re playing it on PC, let us know in the comments – and don’t forget to mention your dodge roll skills!
