Wednesday season 2 has paid tribute to cast member Valeriu Pavel Dan after his death.
The last episodes of season 2 have been made available, including episode 6 called “Woe Thyself,” which ends with a dedication card honoring the late actor Valeriu Pavel Dan.
On the campus of Nevermore, Valeriu Pavel Dan frequently served as the barista at the Tell Tale coffee van, where he was known to concoct beverages with ominous names for students like Wednesday and Enid.
In episode 6, where Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) and Enid (Emma Myers) mysteriously switch places following a strange potion from Lady Gaga’s character Rosaline Rotwood, the barista appears puzzled as Enid (now in Wednesday’s form) cheerfully asks for her typical vibrant coffee beverage.
Yet, she continues her warning manner from Wednesdays, stating, “I could permanently mark my command on your brow, if necessary,” and he promptly complies with her request.

The actor appears in six episodes of Wednesday season 2.
Outside his work on Wednesday, he was also a well known TV presenter and stage actor in Romania.
It was announced by Romanian media in October 2024 that Valeriu Pavel Dan had passed away, a news event that occurred just prior to the conclusion of Wednesday’s second season.
In the second season of Wednesday, we follow the journey of the Addams Family’s daughter as she revisits Nevermore, only to discover that she has gained celebrity status.
With the advent of a fresh year at Nevermore, there arises anew a wave of turmoil. As murders multiply, Wednesday grapples with harnessing her psychic abilities, and is further troubled by a chilling premonition of Enid’s demise.
All episodes of Wednesday season 2 are out now, with the show being renewed for season 3.
