Teresa Giudice is still upset about leaving season four of *Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test*.
During the October 2nd episode of Fox’s reality competition, *The Real Housewives of New Jersey* star decided to leave—and did so very early in the competition—admitting it was a difficult choice.
“Leaving was incredibly difficult,” Teresa shared in an interview with *People* magazine, published on October 7.
Teresa was deeply upset when her daughter, Gia Giudice, was required to participate in a tough exercise called milling. Milling involves two people physically fighting – specifically, aggressively punching each other in the head – as a test of bravery and stamina.
Teresa didn’t want to watch the 24-year-old get into a difficult situation, but she believed Gia was capable of taking care of herself.
“I was confident she’d be alright,” she said. “I know my daughter well, and I just knew she’d be okay.”
Let me tell you, even though I know these contestants are fiercely competitive, watching Teresa leave Gia in Morocco was genuinely tough. It really broke her heart to say goodbye, even while still pursuing her own dreams in the competition. It just goes to show how strong those bonds become, even amidst the pressure!
The reality star confessed she cried all night long – at the airport on the way home, and even after she got there.
Teresa also shared that her husband, Luis Ruelas, was very worried when she came back to the United States.
“My husband was like, ‘What’s wrong with you?’” Teresa revealed. “And I was just so upset.”
“I felt lost until Gia returned,” the author of *Skinny Italian* explained. “I truly wasn’t myself. Even Luis noticed, saying I seemed different and asking what had happened. I told him it had been a really draining experience.”
understood why I left because she knew what we talked about beforehand.”
It was just so heartwarming to hear her talk about it! She said she and her daughter had an absolutely amazing reunion when Gia got back from filming. It really made my day!
Even with all the challenges they faced, Teresa shared, “I’m truly thankful I got to go through this with Gia.”
She said it’s a moment neither of them will ever forget, something that will stay with them both forever.

Oh my gosh, Teresa actually *said* she had a moment where she wished she hadn’t left! Can you believe it? She even hinted she’d go back to boot camp in a heartbeat, but then she immediately realized, poor thing, that once you’re out, they’d *never* let her rejoin. It’s just… heartbreaking! I wish they’d take her back, she *belongs* there!
I wasn’t sure at first, but after a lot of discussion, I realized what was most important. Being a mom always comes first for me, and I want to be a good role model for my kids. That’s what I kept thinking about – my children and setting a good example.
As for how Gia handled her mom’s untimely exit?
Teresa said she explained her reasons for leaving, and her friend understood. She also expressed how thankful she was to have shared the experience with Gia, calling it something they’d both cherish forever.
