The highly awaited sequel, *Hades 2*, will be available starting September 25th on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Developed by Supergiant Games, the game-a follow-up to the acclaimed *Hades* released five years ago-puts players in the role of Melinoe, the princess of Hades, as she battles against the Titan Cronus. Fans are now looking forward to learning the specific release time so they can start playing.
The release time for *Hades 2* varies depending on where you are in the world. Unlike some games, you can’t get around the wait by changing your timezone. The game will launch at the same time for everyone, so you’ll need to wait until it’s officially released in your region. Here’s the exact launch time for *Hades 2* as it leaves early access.
| Region | Time | Timezone |
| North America | 12:00 PM / 9:00 AM | EDT / PDT |
| United Kingdom | 5:00 PM | BST |
| Europe | 6:00 PM / 7:00 PM | CEST / EEST |
| Asia/Oceania | 1:00 AM / 2:00 AM | AWST / AEST |
Can You Preload Hades 2?

Currently, there’s no official word on whether you can download *Hades 2* before its release. Although you can pre-order the game, it doesn’t seem to be available for pre-loading on Nintendo Switch or the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Players will have to wait until the game officially launches, unless Supergiant Games decides to add a pre-load option.
Since *Hades 2* has been in early access for a while, PC players who already have the game installed can basically start playing the full version as soon as it releases. However, the game will still update. The easiest thing to do is let Steam handle the update automatically – just make sure your settings allow automatic downloads.
Does Hades 2 Have a Physical Version?

A physical copy of *Hades 2* is planned, but it won’t be available when the game launches on September 25th. This physical edition is specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2, and cleverly includes the game on a cartridge that also works with the original Nintendo Switch. The physical version comes with a full-color booklet featuring character art, a code to download the game’s soundtrack, and a reversible cover. It’s priced at $49.99, which is higher than the digital version’s price of $29.99.
