Monthly, Netflix takes down various shows and films that aren’t renewed for streaming. The supporters are concerned that Eiichiro Oda’s “One Piece” might be among the content being taken off. This is following the discovery of four “One Piece” movies on the removal list.
Here’s all the One Piece content included in the list that is set to leave on September 1, 2025.
What One Piece movies are leaving Netflix?
Netflix is preparing to take down a significant number of films and series without renewed licensing agreements come September. Among these, there are four One Piece movies, sparking speculation among fans that the renowned anime and live-action show might also be affected. However, this assumption is incorrect. The streaming service will only be removing the following One Piece movies from its library.
- One Piece: Heart of Gold
- One Piece Film: Gold
- One Piece Episode of East Blue
- One Piece Episode of Skypiea
Starting on September 1, 2025, these four movies will no longer be available for streaming on Netflix in the United States. However, viewers in some other regions might still have access to them.
Are the One Piece anime or show leaving Netflix too?
No cause for concern among One Piece enthusiasts! The One Piece anime and live-action series will not be disappearing from Netflix as they currently have no intentions of removing them from their platform.
Given that I’m part of the devoted fans and Netflix itself is behind the creation of the One Piece live-action series, it’s safe to say that this show isn’t vanishing any time soon. The first season, which resonated strongly with viewers worldwide, has established a strong foundation for the show on their platform. Furthermore, we’ve got the second season set for release in 2026, and news about a third season being planned is already circulating.
Rest assured, there’s no need to fret over One Piece disappearing from Netflix. The Straw Hat crew and their pirate friends will continue their adventures for another couple of seasons yet!
