When is the GTA Online snow event? Confirmed date
Get ready for snow in GTA Online! It’s predicted to begin tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025.
The snow is expected to stop around January 7th, 2026, which means you can likely enjoy a snowy Christmas and New Year’s! How exciting!
The seasonal event will officially run from December 23rd to January 7th, as announced on the official GTA blog.
What to expect from the GTA Online Christmas event
In addition to the snow, Rockstar has announced that players can look forward to more surprises this year.

During the holidays, the game is getting a bunch of fun, limited-time modes! I’m really excited about Yeti Hunt and Snowball Fights, but they’re also bringing back The Gooch and the chaotic Weazel Plaza Shootout. It’s gonna be a blast!
There are also some challenges to try and rewards to collect over Christmas.
Get the Snowman Outfit by finding and breaking 25 snowmen between December 23rd and December 29th.
Defeat the Gooch to earn the Gooch Outfit, and stop the Weazel Plaza robbers to get the WM 29 Pistol.
Keep an eye out for the special Holiday Hauler – it looks a lot like the eCola truck! – as it drives around delivering festive sweaters, in-game cash, snacks, and ammo. It’s a truly wonderful time of year!
