Where Brooke Schofield and Tana Mongeau Stand Amid Fallout Rumors

Brooke Schofield and Tana Mongeau have not canceled their friendship.

Following the conclusion of their podcast, Cancelled, in June, the 28-year-old personality spoke about her relationship with her former co-host, stating they are both happier now that the podcast is over.

Brooke explained on the October 22nd episode of The Viall Files that the rumors of tension between her and the other members of Cancelled were often true. She estimated that they didn’t get along about 40 to 50 percent of the time, frequently clashing and disagreeing. She added that it’s difficult to work with friends, especially when you consistently have different viewpoints.

Splitting up as business partners might actually have helped Tana and Brooke preserve their friendship.

Looking back, she remembered that as the project neared completion, the team dynamic shifted. Instead of focusing on internal challenges, they started to see things as a battle against outside forces. She now feels much more positive about their working relationship.

Indeed, Brooke assured that she and Tana are in a very good place.

She said they were relieved to have repaired their friendship. “We’re just really happy to be friends again, especially after going through a difficult time,” she explained.

Fans noticed Tana wasn’t at Brooke’s engagement party last month, but she explained that wasn’t because of any conflict. She was simply traveling and unavailable.

Brooke explained that her friend recently purchased a property in Hawaii, but it was still being built, so she needed to be there to supervise the construction.

Brooke acknowledged that it’s usually upsetting when a friend misses important life events, but she highlighted that Tana was very good at staying in touch.

“She was good about it,” Brooke added. “So it didn’t bother me.”

Brooke also addressed rumors from fans who thought a Shutterfly photo album wasn’t a substantial gift from Tana, considering they’ve collaborated for four years.

“I thought it was amazing,” Brooke gushed. “It’s on my coffee table.”

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, two months after announcing he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)

Okay, so I’m totally freaking out, but I just read this interview and I need to share! Basically, he said that him and Tan are okay, seriously! He explained there was some drama, but it’s totally private and has nothing to do with the show, which is amazing. He even made it super clear it wasn’t some romantic thing, just something personal they were dealing with. Ugh, relief! I was so worried, but they’re handling it, and the show is safe! I’m so glad he addressed it, even if it was just a little bit.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to be clear that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained on Instagram.

After years of speculation about a conflict between them, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty’s former co-star on Charmed, revealed on her December 2023 podcast, Let’s Be Clear, that Alyssa Milano supposedly gave a show producer an ultimatum: choose between her and Shannen. Combs claims this led to Shannen leaving the series in 2001.

In a February 2024 Instagram post, Alyssa stated she couldn’t get anyone fired and claimed that stories circulating about events from the past were simply inaccurate or rewritten accounts.

At a MegaCon Orlando panel, Shannen stated that, to her knowledge, the events as they happened haven’t been altered or misrepresented. She emphasized that the truth remains consistent with what she and others experienced.

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

As a bit of a pop culture enthusiast, I have to share a surprising story! Back in September 2023, I was watching Sharon Osbourne play a game called ‘Stir the Pot’ with her daughter Kelly on TopMob News. During the game, Sharon didn’t hold back! She revealed that, in her experience, Danny Masterson from ‘That ’70s Show’ was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as incredibly rude and even used the phrase ‘dastardly little thing’ to express how she felt about his behavior. It was quite a moment!

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed when he was a guest on The Talk in 2014, after she mispronounced his name.

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this business?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She essentially warned him, ‘You have no idea what you’re up against.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean. This followed a post Brittany made on Instagram on August 23rd, where she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, and expressed her enjoyment of a feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized publicly, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and was truly sorry for not taking the picture.

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, said on Instagram that the actress’s comment was offensive and damaging to many people.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for Courtney’s band, Hole, in a promotional photo without proper credit. Olivia responded with a simple, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason for his difficult relationship with the Forrest Gump star while filming the 1989 movie Turner & Hooch.

I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, told me to go home – that I had everything I needed, he said.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to hit it off. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said, “We got along great.”

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Those who watched The Hills likely remember a famous line spoken by Lauren at the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating her future husband, Spencer Pratt, and really exploded when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler making a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had another public disagreement after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was moved to April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced, scheduled for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that they still haven’t spoken directly, though he expects they will. He mentioned he did talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others connected to the franchise. He explained he was the one who spoke out, and he takes responsibility for that, saying it wasn’t a professional or mature thing to do.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which began with issues over a shared dancer and clashing tour schedules, ended when Katy sent Taylor an olive branch as a peace offering before Taylor’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared on Instagram that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed comments about her co-star.

During a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been coworkers, not friends.

She was deeply upset, saying she was just heartbroken. They had talked about it all week, and she found it really disturbing because her memory of what happened was completely different.

Honestly, it breaks my heart to hear any negativity, but I keep thinking about all we built together. It started as a job, sure, but it became so much more – years of our lives, completely intertwined. I really hope people remember that – the incredible journey we all shared. Being a part of something so special, something that meant so much to so many, feels like the biggest gift, truly. It’s just…everything.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Oh my god, can you BELIEVE the drama?! It all started way back in 2004, and I’ve been following it ever since! Elton was accepting some award, and he just completely went OFF on Madonna. He was SO angry, he actually said she was the ‘best fking live act? Fk off!’ Can you imagine?! He was furious that she lip-synced, and he said anyone who does that when people are paying good money to see them – like 75 pounds! – should be… well, he said they should be shot! It was shocking, honestly, and it just kicked off this HUGE feud that’s still going on! I have all the articles saved, of course. It’s legendary.

The actress, formerly on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator in 2008 when she asked to not be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think her storylines that season were strong enough to deserve a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine’s choice in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone shows you their true colors, pay attention,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart, and it’s helped me a lot over the years.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what caused the argument with Nicki.

Cardi B recently told W magazine that another person has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.

Okay, so here’s what really set everything off, as far as I could tell. Cardi saw that Nicki supposedly liked – and then unliked – a tweet basically questioning how Cardi parents Kulture. Nicki says she didn’t actually do that, but honestly, that’s what started it all, at least from Cardi’s side. It was like, a direct attack, and she just lost it. I’ve been following this drama so closely, and that tweet was the tipping point, I swear!

Cardi B explained that she chose to be with her daughter instead of pursuing a very profitable Bruno Mars tour, potentially earning millions. She emphasized her strong love for her daughter and her dedication as a mother, and expressed frustration that someone without children would criticize her choices. She also pointed out that opportunities to meet other artists are rare, and she wasn’t going to pass up this chance because of where it happened.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.

Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for the action, and Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”

The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview where Mariah was asked about other singers, and when asked about Jennifer Lopez, she famously said, “I don’t know her.”
