I’m so excited! Everstone Studio’s Where Winds Meet is finally coming to the West on November 14th! It’s been a huge hit already, blending that awesome Wuxia style with open-world RPG action. The best part? We can preload it starting November 12th at 2 PM PT, and it’s free! I’m reading up on everything now because I can’t wait to jump into the world of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.
The game features a variety of weapons, from classic swords and spears to more unique options like umbrellas, fans, and rope darts. Players can also learn from 12 different Martial Arts styles and 23 special techniques, all brought to life with incredible animation directed by renowned action choreographer Stephen Tung Wai.
To reach places like Kaifeng, you’ll need to become skilled with your chosen weapons and fighting style. Kaifeng is a massive city, often called the center of civilization, with over 10,000 people and more than 1,200 collectibles. There’s a huge amount to do, including fighting, trading, and discovering secrets in the mysterious Ghostly Market.
Players will soon discover the “Gold-Making Vessel,” a valuable item with a hidden, troubling purpose. This discovery quickly leads to conflict and forces them to confront forces beyond their understanding. Throughout the story, they’ll also learn about Nan Zhu, a shadowy figure secretly following the hero with dangerous, even deadly, intentions.
The game Where Winds Meet is launching on PlayStation 5 and PC. It recently reached over seven million pre-registrations! You can find all the information and discover why it’s generating excitement here.
