If you love playing Sonic the Hedgehog, you probably enjoy fast-paced games where you feel like you’re constantly moving forward. A similar, but less famous, game is coming to PS5, and it looks promising.
A game called Haste is likely coming to PS5. Although it hasn’t been officially revealed, its list of PlayStation trophies was recently discovered on the website Exophase, strongly suggesting a release is planned.
Here’s a gameplay trailer to give you the idea:
Although Haste shares some similarities with Sonic, it’s actively working to establish its own unique identity.
Race through ever-changing worlds, leaping and soaring to escape danger and achieve top speed as the ground crumbles in your wake.
This game is a roguelite, meaning you can use resources earned between levels to permanently upgrade your character and get better gear, making future runs a little easier.
There are various worlds to blitz through, each with their own obstacles and huge boss fights.
The trophies seem pretty simple at first glance, but it’s still unclear how difficult some of them will actually be to earn.
The game came out on Steam last year and has consistently received very positive reviews from players, with thousands of people sharing their feedback.
While it’s not a perfect replacement for a real hedgehog, the upcoming game Haste promises to be a fast-paced and exciting experience. We anticipate an official announcement with more details will be coming shortly.
