The Traitors has quickly become a hugely popular show, and a fourth season is now airing.
Twenty-two contestants, including builder Adam, are at Ardross Castle in Scotland for a competition that tests how well they can lie and detect deception.
Adam prepared for the show by learning to read body language. He claims he can now reliably detect when others are lying, and that it’s impossible to tell when he is being dishonest.
He described his ability to read people, noticing everything from their posture and hand gestures to subtle cues like twitches, eye movements, and even how they moved their ears.
here is everything you need to know about him ahead of the next episode.
Who is Adam from The Traitors?

Age: 34
Job: Builder

Adam, a 34-year-old builder from Essex, loves exploring haunted places. He’s thrilled to visit the castle, both to participate in the game and to investigate any potential ghostly activity.
He took up the hobby after his father passed away when he was young. He explained, “I wanted to believe my dad was still out there, and that I’d see him again someday. We were very close, and he died young.”
He also mentioned his fondness for old buildings, saying he particularly loves their unique smell. So, he’s sure to adore the castle!
Why did Adam apply for The Traitors?
Adam signed up for the show because he’s competitive and confident he could win, even while doing something difficult.
I’m a very direct and expressive person. I always say exactly what’s on my mind, without holding back.
