I was so excited when The Traitors came back this New Year’s Day! Twenty-two of us jumped right into the most intense game of trust and deception β it was amazing!
Jack is one of the players preparing extensively for the game. He’s developed strategies for every situation, including how to use defensive formations and which opponents to be careful around.
He explained that his main strategy is to appear less intimidating by letting people believe they have him figured out, so they won’t see him as a serious challenge.
Now that The Traitors is starting, here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about contestant Jack from season 4.
Who is Jack from The Traitors?

Age: 29
Job: Personal trainer
Location: Essex
Jack is a 29-year-old personal trainer from Essex who describes himself as a real people person.
Before the game started, Jack thoroughly researched common psychological patterns like groupthink, following the crowd, and personal biases β all of which frequently appear in the game’s storyline.
He believes his opponents will likely underestimate him, and he plans to use the common perception of someone from Essex β often playfully referred to as a ‘PT’ β to his advantage.
I’m sure people will have certain expectations based on me being from Essex and working as a personal trainer, and that’s great. If I play into those stereotypes a little, it’ll throw people off when they realize I’m the one with all the strategy.
Why did Jack apply for The Traitors?
Jack, along with the other contestants, really loved the show and wanted to challenge himself by stepping outside of his usual routine.
He explained that the missions require a lot of physical strength, but also present significant mental challenges.
Everyone needs to stay completely focused, whether they’re trying to uncover the traitors or protect the group. One mistake can eliminate you, so you have to be fully present, both in your actions and your thinking.
