After ten weeks filled with both joyful and emotional moments – and a little bit of industry networking – the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025 has been announced.
Tonight, November 4th, Tom, Aaron, and Jasmine—the three remaining finalists—competed in their most difficult challenges yet. The pressure was intense, and the stakes were higher than ever before.
The final three bakers faced off in the famous tent, completing challenging tasks designed to push their baking skills to the limit.
In the signature bake, the bakers were tasked with making iced finger buns, a classic British treat. They aimed to impress the judges with both the taste and how skillfully they made them.
Then came an incredible display of French pastries during the technical challenge. For their final bake ever, the contestants were challenged to create the biggest cake ever seen on the show!
After much deliberation, Jasmine was crowned the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025.
Alison Hammond happily told the 23-year-old that they had been chosen as the Star Baker.
Throughout the show, she was recognized with two Hollywood Handshakes and won Star Baker five times, making her only the second contestant ever to reach that level of success on the show.
Jasmine was thrilled with her win, saying it was a huge relief after balancing exams and baking. She was incredibly happy to have achieved it, especially alongside such a wonderful group of people.
I need to remind myself that even when I doubt my ability to do something, I should still give it a shot. I should keep trying, because you never know what amazing things might happen if I don’t give up.
Judge Prue Leith praised Jasmine’s consistent performance, calling her ‘extraordinary’ and noting it’s rare to see such unwavering skill and quality throughout a competition.
She was consistently amazing throughout the entire Bake Off season this year. She truly deserves the win – she’s the most talented baker we’ve seen in a long time.
