Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s team is seeing some major changes.
Emily Robinson is leaving her position as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s communications director after five months in the role.
According to a statement released to TopMob News on October 24th, Ms. Robinson led the project work for the highly successful series With Love, Meghan and also provided support to the production company. A spokesperson for Meghan said she did a fantastic job and successfully completed all her assignments.
Emily, who spent eight years as a senior publicity director at Netflix until May 2024, quickly became a valuable asset to the Sussexes’ team. The popularity of the first two seasons of With Love, Meghan allowed Meghan Markle, known for her role in Suits, to expand her lifestyle series.
She announced at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit earlier this month that a holiday special will be released in November, describing it as “really good.”
She teased, “I do lots of gift wrapping techniques.”
Meghan, who has two children – 6-year-old Prince Archie and 4-year-old Princess Lilibet – with Harry, said that future episodes of their Netflix series might be different now that they’ve completed two seasons.
Honestly, this past year has been a huge learning experience! We created eight episodes across two seasons, and let me tell you, that’s a significant undertaking. Having spent seven years on Suits, I have a good sense of what it takes to bring a show to life. What’s really struck me is just how much demand there is for content in all sorts of formats – people want to consume it however they can.
She explained that while it’s great to watch a longer show, they’re trying to figure out how to share a recipe quickly – in just a couple of minutes – and where the best place to do that would be.

Even though the show With Love, Meghan might evolve in the future, Meghan clearly enjoyed sharing her hobbies – from cooking and hosting to making flower arrangements and other creative pursuits.
As your children grow up, there’s a special joy in rediscovering your own interests alongside them,” the 44-year-old shared with People magazine. “It’s like moving from building sandcastles with them to building your own again—it’s a really happy feeling.
Meghan shared that as a woman, mother, and wife, rediscovering herself has been a wonderful experience. She explained that it’s about reconnecting with a part of herself that was always there, but she now has more time and energy to focus on as her children get older.

Even though the direction of With Love, Meghan might evolve, the show delightfully showcased Meghan’s interests, from cooking and entertaining to flower arranging and other creative pursuits.
As your children grow up, there’s a special kind of happiness that comes when you start enjoying activities alongside them, almost as if you’re rediscovering your own childhood fun,” the 44-year-old shared with People magazine in March.
Meghan shared that as a woman, mother, and wife, rediscovering her own identity has been incredibly fulfilling. She explained that it’s a feeling of reconnecting with a part of herself that was always there, but she could only fully focus on once her children got a little older.

Meghan Markle shared in season two that she made husband Prince Harry and his friends custom baseball hats bearing “PH40″—his initials and age—in honor of his 40th birthday in September 2024.
Before heading to Malibu for a getaway with her friend Heather Dorak, Meghan talked about how she’s grown and changed since her twenties.
We first bonded over our shared interest in health and fitness, running together regularly. Now, we’re both mothers of two children, and our husbands have become close friends. It’s wonderful to see how our friendship has grown and changed over time.
The former Suits star went on to share how her thoughts about aging have evolved as well.
She described her life stages as a positive journey of self-discovery. She felt that your 20s are for growing up, your 30s for finding your footing, and your 40s are truly fulfilling. She explained that these experiences are necessary for personal growth, and it’s been inspiring to witness women becoming more confident and comfortable with themselves and their bodies as they age.
Meghan observed that she and her friends now enjoy simpler pleasures like cookies and wine, saying, ‘We’ve moved into a new phase of life.’

Meghan said she hadn’t seen a former coworker from Deal or No Deal in nearly 20 years, but they reconnected a couple of years ago after she reached out.
When they finally got together in season two, the pair reminisced about old times on set.
“I remember all having to stand in line,” Meghan recalled, “to get our lashes put on in a row.”
Even though they haven’t seen each other recently, Meghan Markle revealed she still follows Chrissy Teigen’s work and success.
Meghan told her, ‘After I stopped working on that show, you became really famous. I remember being so surprised to see you on the cover of Sports Illustrated… You were always so kind.’

When Meghan mispronounced “Hawthorn” as “Honsworth,” Chrissy playfully suggested it was a secret reveal of the name of her supposed third child.
As the Cravings cookbook author noted, “I was like, ‘You have a kid named Honsworth?'”
Meghan playfully responded, “You’ve never heard of my child? And honestly, if I could have kept a secret like that under wraps, that would be amazing.”

Harry made a quick appearance in season two with Meghan and Clare Smyth, the chef who catered their 2018 wedding. Clare had flown to California for the episode, and the three of them took a picture together with the caption, “Surprise Visit!”

Meghan, mother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, recently described her son Archie as a remarkably sweet and loving child.
“I always wanted to be a mom,” Meghan added. “I love it. It’s better than I even expected.”

Meghan had to face the music after her move from London to California.
She confessed to Tan France that she really misses listening to the U.K. radio station Magic. ‘I’ll be the grandma who always listens to it,’ she joked.
These days, she noted her playlists can range from soul to country music.
She said her favorite radio station in the car is called ‘Mom Jeans.’ It plays older songs that are perfect for singing along to – the kind you’d forgotten about.

Cooking might be one of Meghan’s love languages, but her dishes don’t always turn out egg-celent.
Roast chicken is a huge part of my life! My husband proposed the night I made one, and it was actually what we served at our wedding. I make it almost every week, and it reminds me of a funny story – I was still getting the hang of converting Celsius to Fahrenheit when I first cooked it for him! It’s a dish filled with so many memories.
She admitted she’d cooked a really awful chicken that night, but the important thing, she said, is that even if your efforts aren’t perfect, someone will still appreciate you trying.

During Clare’s episode, she jokingly shared that Harry teases her for saying “herbs” without the “H,” pronouncing it the way many Americans do.

The actress explained that she consulted with an Ayurvedic doctor—a traditional Indian medicine practitioner—during her pregnancy. However, she told guest Samin Nosrat she had to eat a lot of dates, which she found difficult. She emphasized, “So many.”

Everyone knows Meghan Markle enjoys making jam, but she shared in the first season of her show that she really started getting serious about it after she and Prince Harry settled into their home in Montecito, California.
Oh my gosh, you guys, it was SO cute! In episode two of With Love, Meghan, she was picking berries and casually mentioned the vines were already there when they moved in! And get this – those vines are actually what got her into making jam and preserves! I seriously melted. It’s just the sweetest little detail and explains everything!
As for Meghan’s favorite preserve?
The Duchess of Sussex shared that making apple butter reminds her of her grandmother, making it a cherished tradition. She loves that her children, Archie and Lilibet, now get to experience it too. She imagines they’ll associate the smell of slow-cooked fruit with coming home and the warmth of family, thinking, ‘Mom’s making preserves again!’
In fact, Meghan said Lili has even tried her hand at preserve-making.
While offering strawberry jam on the show, she explained that she and her daughter, Lili, made it together. Lili helped pick all the berries and insisted on doing as much of the work as possible, wanting to stir and mash the fruit herself. Her mother guided her, letting her pour the jam while keeping the hot parts safe. Seeing Lili’s pride in her work was the best part.

However, it appears Harry, who made a cameo on season one, has some culinary skills too.
Meghan revealed in episode five that her husband, affectionately known as H, is an excellent cook, especially when it comes to breakfast.
The duchess also offered some insight into how the Duke of Sussex likes to season his food.
Meghan shared that her husband has a habit of adding salt to his food before even tasting it. Because of this, she now tries to use less salt when she cooks.

Meghan describes her fashion sense as a mix of high-end and affordable items – she likes to combine luxurious pieces with more budget-friendly ones.
The actress, known for her role in Suits, described what she wore while hosting Mindy Kaling for a tea party during the first season of her show. She revealed she paired Zara pants with a Loro Piana top and a Jenni Kayne sweater.

The show highlights Meghan’s passions for things like hosting, cooking, gardening, and interior design, while also revealing some of her other hobbies and interests.
For instance, in one episode, she hosted a game night for her friends.
We’ve all been learning to play mahjong together recently,” she explained. “Mahjong originated in China in the 1800s, and we play the American version. I’ve really come to appreciate that the game is enjoyable, but even more than that, it’s been wonderful learning something new with friends, and the game has become a backdrop for strengthening our friendships.”
I was so excited to hear more about what Meghan enjoys! Her friend, Vicky Tsai, who founded Tatcha, mentioned she loves pickleball, and Meghan herself shared some of the music she’s really into. It feels great to get a little peek into her life outside of royal duties.
In episode five, Meghan shared that she enjoys listening to ’70s soft rock, yacht rock, soul music, and music that sounds like it would be played at a French dinner party.
And when it come to food, she said she has a “very, very high tolerance” for spice.
Growing up, we didn’t have much money, but my mom made sure we traveled whenever possible. She was a travel agent and always encouraged us to experience new cultures and foods. She was a fantastic cook, especially when it came to Soul food – it’s full of rich, bold flavors and a little spice! I really miss that taste and always look for that same level of heat in my food. Now, I’m introducing my own family to the flavors I grew up loving, and they’re enjoying it too.

In the second episode of her first season, Meghan shared that she had a childhood filled with quick meals like fast food and TV dinners.
She recalled in the second episode how different things felt back then, remembering a childhood filled with compartmentalized microwavable meals, watching Jeopardy!, and eating a lot of fast food – things that just seemed normal at the time.
Her favorites at the time?
Meghan shared that she used to frequently eat at Pollo Loco and Taco Bell, always adding extra hot sauce to her Mexican pizza. She also mentioned Jack in the Box, explaining her mom was a big fan of their tacos.

Meghan didn’t just share memories of her early years; she also talked about her experiences as a Girl Scout.
She shared that she spent many years in Girl Scouts, starting as a Daisy when she was five or six. She remembers selling lots of cookies, and her mom was the leader of Troop 949.

Even after stepping down as senior royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan retained their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
And in With Love, Meghan, she explained why the Sussex name is so meaningful to her.
In episode two, Meghan playfully pointed out to Mindy that she’s now known as Sussex. She explained that having children made her realize how important sharing a family name is. She admitted she hadn’t anticipated how much meaning it would hold, but saying ‘This is our family name, our little family name’ is incredibly special to her.

Speaking of Archie and Lili, Meghan offered a few insights into their world in the series.
The mom of two says her children also enjoy gardening, and they even have their own tools – they’re really dedicated to it! She also mentioned that her daughter loves the color pink and has a special song she sings while cleaning up.
Meghan shared in episode five that Lili has turned the phrase ‘clean as you go’ into a little song. She demonstrated by repeating it: ‘Clean as you go. Clean, clean, clean, clean, clean as you go.’
As a mom, I’m all about those simple, sweet moments, and I loved sharing a couple recently. Archie and I made sun tea together – such a fun, old-fashioned activity! He also had a blast learning to fish and actually caught a trout, which was so exciting. Honestly, some of my happiest times are in the kitchen, cooking with my kids. It’s just the best!
As a lifestyle expert, I truly believe the most precious gifts we give our children aren’t things, but experiences and traditions. I’m always thinking about the memories I want them to have, and I love the idea of them looking back and saying, ‘Mom used to make this,’ or recalling a special moment we shared. It’s about building those formative experiences together – that’s what really matters to me.

Long before she was an actress or a duchess, Meghan had her first job at an ice cream shop.
She recalled being 13 years old when she got her first job at Humphrey Yogart, as she shared on episode five of the podcast, With Love, Meghan.
Later on, Meghan helped make doughnuts.
She mentioned in the third episode that doughnuts always bring back childhood memories. She used to work at a small doughnut shop named Lil Orbits Donuts, where they made incredibly small, mini doughnuts that were sold at craft fairs, and she assisted with the work.
And when she was in college, Meghan worked at a bar in Chicago.
In episode seven, a Northwestern University graduate recounted their post-graduation plans: initially thinking they’d move to Chicago and take a simple job like coat check, they were surprised when offered a position as a cocktail waitress instead.
After a customer’s complicated martini order left her flustered, Meghan said her boss told her to go back to her old job at the coat check.
In addition, Meghan shared that before her current life, she had a variety of interesting jobs, including teaching gift-wrapping and bookmaking at Paper Source, and working as a hostess at Mirabelle Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard.

In the fourth episode, Meghan hosts a gathering with Delfina Blaquier, the wife of Nacho Figueras, and shares her thoughts on her experiences living abroad.
The Duchess shared that she really loved living in Argentina, explaining it felt similar to California with its mountains and vibrant outdoor lifestyle. Even though she was only there for a few months as an intern at the U.S. embassy, she had a wonderful experience.

Meghan starred as Rachel Zane on the show Suits between 2011 and 2018, and she often recalls the moment she learned she’d be relocating to Toronto for the part.
She explained that when the show was picked up and filming moved to Toronto, she started to wonder what that meant for her life. “One season in Toronto, amazing. Two seasons… will I be living there now?” Thankfully, she loves Canada and made an effort to connect with the cast and people she met, even inviting them over or running into them at the dog park with her dog.
In fact, her costar Abigail Spencer appears in one of the With Love, Meghan episodes.

In January 2025, Meghan announced her beloved dog, Guy, passed away.
Oh my gosh, that sweet beagle was everywhere in the show, and honestly, it just made everything better! Meghan even talked about how much she adored him, and I totally get it! He’s just the cutest, and I was living for every single moment he was on screen. I can’t even explain how happy it made me to see them together!
She confessed in episode four that she’d do anything for Guy, and he’s well aware of it. She explained that he’s incredibly adaptable, always being exactly what she needs – sometimes sweet, sometimes playful, sometimes a little mischievous, but always someone she indulges.
And he was always by her side.
She explained that Guy is always by her side, like a constant companion. They’ve been together for many years, ever since she lived in Toronto. He was originally found in the woods in Kentucky and has since traveled with her to the U.K., back to Canada, and then to California. She feels he’s lived a full life and has many stories to share.
After the season one finale aired, I learned something truly touching. Meghan shared that the entire series was dedicated as a loving tribute to Guy. It’s a beautiful way to honor his memory and I think it adds a really special layer to the show.
