Why Rihanna’s Reaction at Mariah Carey’s Concert Has Fans Talking

Apparently, not everyone wants Rihanna to shine bright like a diamond.

Rihanna attended Mariah Carey’s holiday concert at Dolby Live in Las Vegas on December 13th, watching from an elevated seat. However, during Mariah’s performance of “We Belong Together,” someone in the audience asked Rihanna to stop obstructing their view. Rihanna responded with a few sharp words.

In a video taken by a fan, the Grammy-winning singer danced to the classic R&B song and then blew Mariah Carey a kiss. A fan then asked her to move down so they could get a better view, and she responded with an expletive: “Oh, shoot!”

However, not everyone agrees with the fan who told Rihanna to be less arrogant – and meant it literally, as if she were actually on a horse.

A video caption perfectly summed up the situation: someone had the nerve to tell Rihanna to sit down while she was excitedly watching Mariah perform.

Rihanna, who has three children – RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and 3-month-old Rocki – with A$AP Rocky, didn’t seem to mind the fan’s approach. She made eye contact with them before continuing to enjoy the music and dance.

This isn’t the first time the beauty entrepreneur has gone viral for her funny reactions. She previously responded with humor when a close-up photo of her face became a popular meme about relationships.

The popular meme account Fembase recently posted on Instagram, pointing out that many women underestimate how much their partners enjoy candid, unpolished photos. They shared a picture of Billie Eilish from a 2011 V Festival performance, explaining that these ‘bad’ photos often feel more genuine and personal than professionally taken, highly edited ones.

Although many people connected with the post, Rihanna was bothered by the unflattering picture. She playfully asked on November 25th, “How do I react to this?”
