If you’re watching the new BBC One drama, Wild Cherry, you’ve probably been enjoying the music and finding yourself tapping your foot along to the beat.
The series unfolds a dramatic story set in the affluent community of Richford Lake, while also focusing on a shocking scandal at the local girls’ school. This scandal thrusts teenage best friends Grace and Allegra into the public eye, changing their lives forever.
Despite the show’s intense conflicts and betrayals, it features a fantastic soundtrack with music from artists like Jordan Rakei, Dave, and Lykke Li. The theme song was specially written by the show’s creator and writer, Nicôle Lecky, who also demonstrated her musical abilities in her previous work, Mood.
