Nikki Glaser‘s chances of hosting the Golden Globes for a third consecutive year are golden.

The comedian had everyone in the audience roaring with laughter at the January 11th, 2026 show, and producer Glenn Weiss said he’d be thrilled to have her host again in 2027.

Glenn told Variety in a January 12th interview that Nikki is a fantastic performer who has really thrived with the show. He believes she’s an ideal host for them.

Glenn described Nikki as incredibly dedicated. He said she’s truly passionate about her work and was constantly refining her performance, even making changes right up until they started filming, from the initial rehearsals to the final take.

He praised her immensely, saying she’s not only hilarious but also incredibly dedicated and perfectly suited for the part.

Glenn said they haven’t discussed plans for next year, but he really wants Nikki to return. He explained, “Personally, I’m hoping she comes back.”

As for Nikki? The 41-year-old revealed that she’d certainly be down to tackle the challenge again. 

She told Variety in a January 7th interview that trying something once is achievable, but succeeding at it repeatedly is impressive. She added that she enjoys the process and finds it very rewarding when her hard work pays off.

Nikki’s speech was a standout moment at the 83rd Golden Globes, where she playfully teased celebrities like Sean Penn, Kevin Hart, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Even Leonardo DiCaprio, who lost to Timothée Chalamet in the Best Actor award for a musical or comedy film, appeared to enjoy the joke about his tendency to date younger women.

Nikki began her speech by acknowledging the incredible career of the One Battle After Another star, who beamed at her from the audience. She highlighted his many memorable roles, collaborations with top directors, and impressive awards – three Golden Globes and an Oscar.

She joked, earning a laugh and a nod from Leo, “It’s amazing you managed to do all of that before your girlfriend even turned thirty! It’s really incredible.”
