Not everything is changing in the royal family.
Following Prince Andrew’s decision to step down from his Duke of York title and other royal positions because of ongoing questions about his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, people began to wonder if this would affect the titles held by his daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35.
But ultimately, his daughters’ titles remain unaffected.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Andrew’s daughters with Sarah Ferguson, will both retain their royal titles as “Her Royal Highness Princess.” Before their marriages, they were known as “Her Royal Princess of York.”
Just because Andrew has stepped down as a royal doesn’t mean Beatrice and Eugenie won’t be able to attend royal events in the future.
You know, Sarah, Duchess of York, will continue to use her married name, Sarah Ferguson, for both her professional work – like her writing and TV appearances – and just in her everyday life. She and Prince Andrew separated back in 1996 after a decade of marriage, but she’s built a really strong identity with that name, and it’s one she’s proud to keep using.
Prince Andrew announced on October 17th that he will no longer use the title Duke of York. He made this decision after talking it over with his brother, King Charles III, and other members of the royal family. However, he will continue to be known as ‘Prince’ because he is the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
After talking things over with The King, and with my family both close and extended, we’ve all agreed that the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work His Majesty and the Royal Family are doing. It’s time to step back so they can continue to focus on what matters most.
The 65-year-old, who stopped using his royal title in 2022 after losing his military roles and charitable positions following his mother’s decision before she passed away, explained that he prioritized his family and country when making his choice.
He reaffirmed his choice to withdraw from public duties five years ago, following the controversy. Now, with the King’s approval, he believes he needs to take things a step further and will no longer use his royal title or any honors he’s received.
Although recent public attention contributed to his decision to step back from royal duties, Andrew maintains that the accusations of sexual abuse against him are untrue.
Like I’ve mentioned before, I want to be clear: I absolutely don’t agree with what people are saying about me and strongly deny everything they’re accusing me of.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will no longer use the title Duke of York. This decision comes because of ongoing public concern about his association with the late Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex offenses.
After talking with The King and my family, I’ve decided the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew said in a statement. “As I’ve always done, I’m prioritizing my family and country. I remain committed to my decision from five years ago to step back from public duties.
Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking things a step further. He would be giving up his royal title and any honors he’d received. As he’s said before, he strongly rejects all the accusations made against him.
In October 2025, the King and his oldest son attended the event leading up to the COP30 climate conference at the Natural History Museum in London.
The couple posed for photos in front of the museum before going inside to discuss climate change solutions with government officials and activists. This event took place ahead of the COP30 World Leaders Summit in Belém, Brazil, in November, which Prince William will attend as a representative for his father.
I was absolutely devastated when I found out they removed the Duchess of York as a patron of Julia’s House! Apparently, an old email from 2011 surfaced – can you believe it? – where she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a ‘friend.’ It’s just… shocking, and I can’t help but feel terrible for the charity and for her, honestly. It feels like such a harsh consequence for something that happened so long ago, but I guess they had to do something.
After reports surfaced this weekend about the Duchess of York’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has decided it’s no longer appropriate for her to continue her role as a patron of the charity. The charity has informed the Duchess of this decision and expressed gratitude for her previous contributions, according to The Guardian.
According to a representative from Ferguson, the email was sent following a threat she received from Epstein.
After a 19-month absence, Prince Harry was spotted arriving at Clarence House—the King’s home in London—likely to visit his father before attending another event in the city.

Just a day before turning 78, the royal was made an honorary Vice Admiral by the Royal Navy.
Camilla is the first woman to receive this honorary title. It’s awarded only by the monarch—currently her husband, King Charles III—based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, Sir Gwyn Jenkins.
Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Catherine cancelled her appearance at Royal Ascot, according to Kensington Palace.
The palace said Kate was sad she couldn’t attend the event, but is still working out how to manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.
Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when a court dismissed his case. This followed a decision over a year prior where the High Court, through the Royal and VIP Executive Committee, had already denied his request for increased protection.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being full-time working royals in 2021 and moved to the U.S., their security arrangements were reduced. Since then, Harry has asked for continued security protection during his visits to the U.K.
Prince Harry told the BBC on May 2nd that he was deeply upset by the outcome of his recent legal fight. He stated that, as things currently stand, he doesn’t foresee returning to the UK with his wife and children.
In an interview with the BBC on May 2nd, Prince Harry said his father, King Charles III, isn’t currently speaking to him due to disagreements about security. He expressed hope that they could resolve their differences and rebuild their relationship.
Prince Harry expressed his desire to rebuild his relationship with his family, including his father, but indicated the decision to move forward rests with his dad.
He stated he doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness that his children won’t have the chance to experience his home country with him.
You know, as I’ve observed in many family dynamics, sometimes the most powerful thing someone can do isn’t to directly fix things, but to create space for solutions to emerge. Harry shared with me that his father holds a lot of influence in this situation, and ultimately, a resolution could come about if he simply allowed the people who *are* best equipped to handle it to do their jobs. It’s about trusting the experts and stepping back, rather than trying to control everything.
I’ve been following this situation for a long time, and it’s incredible to see him finally trying to make peace after everything. He just said something that really got to me – he emphasized how valuable life is, and that he doesn’t know how much time he has left with his father. It feels like a really personal and heartfelt plea for everyone to put aside their differences.

In a statement released on the organization’s website, Knauf expressed his excitement about collaborating with the talented team and dedicated community to further their goal of hopeful action for the planet.
I’ve been following this story closely, and it’s fascinating to see how things unfold. A former palace aide recently received a promotion – and it’s brought a lot of attention back to a complaint he made almost seven years ago. He alleged that Meghan Markle had difficult interactions with her staff, specifically accusing her of bullying two assistants and trying to discredit another. Now, the Sussexes’ team strongly denies these claims, calling them a deliberate attempt to damage their reputation with false and harmful information. It’s a complex situation, and it really highlights the pressures and scrutiny those in the public eye face.
Buckingham Palace looked into the claims, but the investigation concluded in 2022 with no public announcement of its findings.

According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount in damages and offering Harry a complete and sincere apology. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and deeply invasive coverage of both his life and the life of his mother, Princess Diana.
