Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beloved sci-fi film Back to the Future! The classic movie, directed by Robert Zemeckis and written with Bob Gale, will be back in theaters across the country starting October 31st. And for a lucky few in Los Angeles, there’s a chance to see it even earlier – on October 27th – with a special 4DX experience, and tickets are free!
The movie Back to the Future is set in the made-up town of Hill Valley, California. It follows Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) as he hangs out with his girlfriend, Jennifer, and his quirky scientist friend, Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd). When Doc convinces Marty to test a time machine, Marty travels back to 1955 in a DeLorean. There, he accidentally interferes with his parents’ (Crispin Glover and Lea Thompson) first meeting, potentially erasing himself from existence.
