Last Friday, Visual Concepts officially announced and dated WWE 2K26. We got our first look at actual gameplay during the Royal Rumble event. You can watch it here, but be warned: CM Punk appears frequently!
This year’s game features CM Punk on the cover – it’s been almost 13 years since he was on the cover of WWE ’13. The game largely focuses on his career, highlighting key matches and dream matchups against wrestling legends. That’s why you’ll see three different versions of Punk in the game, showing his looks from his independent wrestling days to his initial WWE appearance. It’s safe to assume the version of Punk with a shaved head and mask will also make an appearance!
With over 400 wrestlers to choose from, the game offers a huge range of options, including popular stars like Joe Hendry, El Grande Americano, and Stephanie Vaquer (who was previously available as downloadable content). You can also enjoy intergender matches and features like table stacking to create even more intense matches, like a truly brutal Hell in a Cell showdown.
WWE 2K26 will be available on March 13th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, and will cost $69.99. Players who purchase the King of Kings Edition, Attitude Era Edition, or Monday Night War Edition will get to start playing a week early.
