WWE Reveals When AJ Styles Will Return to TV

As a lifelong WWE fan who has been through the highs and lows of professional wrestling, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement bubbling within me like a kid on Christmas morning. AJ Styles, the Phenomenal One, is making his return to SmackDown next week! It’s been too long since we last saw him on our screens, and his absence has left a void that no other superstar could fill quite the same way.

Fans of WWE have been without their phenomenal star AJ Styles on SmackDown for several months now, as he hasn’t appeared on television. Despite rumors that he was medically cleared, his absence wasn’t due to injury, leading some to wonder about his future and contract status. However, tonight WWE announced that Styles will be returning to their TV shows soon, and he is set to make a comeback next week on SmackDown, gracing the blue brand once more.

Previously, Syltes appeared on TV during the Clash at the Castle premium live event. There, he battled against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in an “I Quit” match. Although Syltes put up a valiant fight to defeat Rhodes, it was him who had to say “I Quit,” as a means of preventing himself from being severely injured by steel steps within the ring.

Ever since my last televised bout, I’ve been out of the ring, but I’ve made appearances at WWE Live events. As far as TV goes, I’ve been off the grid, or as they say, MIA. But it looks like things are changing, and there might be some big plans for me on SmackDown. Tonight’s show even aired a tantalizing teaser video hinting at my return next week. I can hardly contain my excitement!

What’s Next for Styles

It seems unlikely that he’ll have a confrontation with Rhodes on SmackDown, as Rhodes is deeply entangled in the storyline of The Bloodline due to Roman Reigns. Even if Rhodes weren’t, he recently concluded a feud with him, so it’s unlikely they’d jump straight into another one. Similarly, LA Knight, who has previously squared off against him, is currently quite busy with his participation in the ongoing conflict between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade, making a feud less probable at this time.

As a devoted fan, I can’t wait to witness AJ Styles again! Last time he was all about the villainy, so it seems logical that he might maintain this heel persona upon his return. If that’s the case, there are several babyfaces who could find themselves squaring off against him, such as Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Interestingly, both of these wrestlers are also tied to The Bloodline storyline, but they still have room for involvement in other tales. For instance, Orton recently teamed up with Gunther.

A potential confrontation between Andrade and Styles could be captivating, yet its occurrence hinges on whether Andrade remains involved in the plot with Knight and Hayes. If Styles were to change his alignment to a heroic one, it would create additional possibilities. Regardless, having Styles back in the fray is sure to make for an exciting spectacle.
