Xbox Design Lab launched a special design for Xbox Series X|S controllers inspired by the game Ninja Gaiden 4, the latest installment in the popular Ninja Gaiden series, on September 24, 2025 (according to Xbox Wire).
These cool designs feature the main characters from Ninja Gaiden 4, Ryu Hayabusa and Yakumo, creating a look that will excite fans of the series. It’s sure to give players a surge of confidence as they face the dangerous traps and incredibly difficult bosses in this new Xbox game.

The Ninja Gaiden 4 Xbox controller is available in two versions: the standard Xbox Wireless Controller and the premium Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.
The top of each controller features a unique design combining the iconic Red Dragon Katana of Ryu Hayabusa with the blue katana of the new character, Yakumo. Yakumo’s Oni mask is prominently displayed in the center, creating a bold, manga-style illustration.
Xbox Design Lab doesn’t limit you to standard controller styles. You can fully personalize each controller, choosing button styles and colors to complement the textured red and blue grips.
You can also customize these controllers with accessories like metal triggers and D-pads, comfortable rubber grips, and even downloadable files to 3D print your own unique thumbstick toppers.
Plus, the Ninja Gaiden 4 controllers work with both Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth, making it easy to connect them to a wide range of devices like Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PCs, iPhones, Android phones, or cloud gaming systems.
These special Xbox controllers for Ninja Gaiden 4 include a dedicated share button, making it easy to capture photos and videos of your best gameplay moments, like impressive victories or tough boss fights.
The special Elite Series 2 version of the Ninja Gaiden 4 Xbox controller offers features you won’t find on standard controllers. It includes faster trigger buttons, comfortable rubber grips that wrap around the controller, and thumbsticks you can adjust for more accurate control.
