As an Xbox gamer, I’ve been seeing a lot of talk about whether we’ll finally get to play some of those awesome PlayStation exclusives like *Ghost of Tsushima* and *The Last of Us Part 2*. Things have really changed in the gaming world lately. Remember when games like *Halo* or *Uncharted* were *totally* locked to their own consoles, maybe with a PC version at best? Well, Xbox has started porting games like *Gears of War* over to the PS5, which feels like a huge shift. It seems like exclusives aren’t as important as they used to be, and that’s honestly pretty exciting!
Initially, some Xbox players were upset when PlayStation didn’t release its exclusive games on Xbox, while Xbox did release *Helldivers 2* on PlayStation. Although *Helldivers 2* is now available on Xbox, major PlayStation single-player titles haven’t followed suit – until now, perhaps. Recent Google searches have revealed potential Xbox Store pages for PlayStation games like *Ghost of Tsushima*, *The Last of Us Part 2*, and *Horizon Zero Dawn*. These pages aren’t currently active, but their appearance in search results is sparking speculation that these games might soon be coming to Xbox.
Are PlayStation Games Really Coming to Xbox?

Don’t read too much into this – these pages have actually been around for years and occasionally reappear in the news. While it’s unclear why they show up, the most common explanation is that if you own these games on PC and play them through the Xbox app, they’ll show up on your Xbox profile for your friends to see. It’s important to note that these games don’t have Xbox achievements and there’s no way to buy them through the Xbox store.
Another possibility is that this data represents a list of popular searches on the Xbox Store. The web address includes the word “search,” suggesting Google may have indexed a page that appears when someone searches for a game that isn’t available on Xbox. While PlayStation recently hinted at potentially bringing more games to Xbox, these search results don’t seem connected and likely aren’t significant.
Tokyo Game Show is next week, and while there’s a small chance we might see some major PlayStation games announced for Xbox, it’s unlikely. Anything is possible, but currently, it doesn’t seem like PlayStation will release a lot of their popular games on Xbox. We were all surprised when PlayStation started releasing games on PC, but PC gaming doesn’t compete with PlayStation consoles the way Xbox does.
