Xbox Game Pass is getting a fresh lineup of games, as announced on Xbox Wire this Tuesday. Subscribers to the highest tier can especially look forward to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the newest installment in the popular series. Developed by Treyarch and Raven, this edition features a four-player co-op campaign, a more robust multiplayer experience, and a large Zombies mode. Beyond Call of Duty, a charming indie title called Winter Burrow is also joining the service. In this cozy survival game, you play as a mouse trying to survive a harsh winter. A solid batch of games, but snag some of those departures
There’s a good selection of new games coming to Xbox Game Pass, and I’m especially excited to try Black Ops 7 and Winter Burrow, which I’ve been watching for a while.
However, I’m disappointed to see a couple of games leaving the service, particularly the original Frostpunk and STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl (the sequel to Frostpunk will remain).
I already own both, and I suggest others purchase them too. They’re both fantastic survival games, though they offer very different experiences.

Just a heads-up for my fellow gamers: November 15th is going to be a bit sad because *STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl*, *Frostpunk*, *Football Manager 2024*, and *Spirittea* are all leaving the platform. I’m definitely going to try and get some playtime in with those before they’re gone!
Why is STALKER 2 leaving?
There wasn’t an official explanation, but games on Game Pass change frequently. If you want to continue playing a game, you’ll need to buy it before it’s removed.

No, this is Wave 1. A second wave of titles will be announced later in the month.
