In a surprising move, RGG Studio, the team known for the Yakuza and Like a Dragon games, has partnered with Xbox to showcase their upcoming title.
The game Stranger Than Heaven was recently shown off in a new trailer during a showcase event, featuring edited footage of actual gameplay.
The game will feature a historical adventure spanning five different time periods and five cities in Japan. It’s shaping up to be a very ambitious project.
Honestly, I’m still trying to figure this game out. The fighting feels… different. It’s not as fast and fluid as something like Yakuza, it’s more deliberate and depends a lot on what’s happening around you. But the good thing is, we won’t have to wait too long to see more gameplay and get a better idea of what’s going on.
The Xbox involvement doesn’t end there – they’re hosting a special presentation of Stranger Than Heaven on May 6th. It’s definitely something to watch.
Just to confirm, Stranger Than Heaven is still planned for release on PlayStation 5. However, we’ve noticed SEGA and Microsoft’s gaming teams are working very closely together recently, and wanted to point that out.
So, what are your thoughts on Stranger Than Heaven? Are you excited to see what happens next? And please, let’s keep the comments section civil – no need for harsh words!
