Following a trailer showcasing Kiryu’s Combat Styles in Yakuza Kiwami 3, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has now released a new trailer that focuses on Yoshitaka Mine’s fighting skills in Dark Ties. Even though he comes from a business background, Mine is a capable fighter, taking down enemies with shoot-boxing moves.
Beyond capitalizing on weaknesses, he can launch enemies and swiftly follow up with attacks on others. Mine also has the Dark Awakening skill, which releases his “inner darkness” and unleashes a series of powerful attacks. While these attacks appear simple, he can also grab a defeated enemy and drag them along the ground.
Its Heat Action is just as powerful, launching an enemy upwards before breaking their back with a knee strike. Although Kiryu’s Styles might be more complex (understandably, considering how much bigger this remake is), Mine’s fighting style has a distinct and impactful brutality that players will enjoy exploring.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties will be released on February 12th, 2026, as a single package priced at $69.99. You’ll be able to play it on Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. To learn more about Dark Ties, including its origins as a video, click here.
