We might learn more about RGG Studio’s upcoming game, Stranger Than Heaven, during today’s State of Play presentation. If not, this is all the information available for now.
As a huge fan, I was so hyped when the studio ended their RGG Direct with a quick peek at their new game! It looks like it’s going to be a massive adventure, taking us through different time periods and covering about ten years of Japanese history. I can’t wait to see what they’ve created!
A video from Gematsu features a singer performing on stage, mixed with behind-the-scenes footage of the game’s development team. Throughout the video, viewers also catch quick looks at actual gameplay.

This isn’t the major update we were expecting, but SEGA previously stated the game would launch sometime between April 1st, 2026, and March 31st, 2027. Based on recent news, we now think it’s more likely to come out closer to the end of that timeframe.
