With Taylor Sheridan‘s shows continuing to be popular on Paramount Plus, a well-liked actor is moving from one of his series to a new one.
Ian Bohen, famous for his role as Ryan in the TV series Yellowstone, is joining the third season of Lioness. The show was recently renewed for another season, about a year after its second season aired.
So, Variety is reporting that Bohen’s landed a role – he’s going to be playing Grady, a super disciplined Delta Force guy. Apparently, Grady’s the main handler for the K9 unit, and he’s really sharp when it comes to battlefield strategy. Sounds like a cool, tactical role!
This isn’t the first time Bohen and Sheridan have worked together. This will be their fourth project as Bohen has previously appeared in Sheridan’s films *Wind River* and *Sicario: Day of the Soldado*.

Bohen is joining a fantastic ensemble cast featuring stars like Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly, Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, and many others.
Lioness stars Laysla De Oliveira as Joe, a Marine recruited to infiltrate the ranks of a CIA team. This all-female unit undertakes dangerous covert operations related to the War on Terror.
As a huge Yellowstone fan, it’s bittersweet that the main show is over. But the good news is, the story isn’t *really* finished! Several of my favorite characters and plotlines will live on in a bunch of spin-offs, and we’re even going to get more shows that explore the history of the Dutton ranch. It’s like the Yellowstone universe is just expanding, which I’m totally excited about!
As a huge fan, I’m so excited to hear they’re still bringing in incredible actors! Seriously, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Ed Harris are all going to be in upcoming seasons – it’s amazing! It just shows how much buzz these shows are creating that they can attract that level of talent.
You can now watch seasons 1 and 2 of Lioness on Paramount Plus. Sign up for Paramount Plus here to start streaming.
