Moving forward with the next phase of Yellowstone, there’s exciting news about the upcoming Beth and Rip spin-off series: an esteemed celebrity has been added to the star-studded lineup.
Annette Bening will join the show starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. In this role, she’ll portray Beulah Jackson – a strong, clever, and captivating figure who runs one of Texas’s largest ranches.
As an enthusiastic viewer, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming series has received a tentative name – The Dutton Ranch! This exciting western saga is set to captivate us all. Chad Feehan, who previously brought Lawmen: Bass Reeves to life, will be at the helm as the showrunner, promising an engaging and authentic experience. I can hardly wait to immerse myself in this new tale of ranching, drama, and the unyielding spirit of the American West!
Previously mentioned, Finn Little is set to return to the series, resuming his character as Carter – a somewhat stand-in son for Beth and Rip.

As a movie critic, I’d rephrase it like this: “In the heart of the Dutton Ranch, where Beth Dutton (Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Hauser) reside, we witness a symbol of the tranquility they yearned for, valiantly defended, and almost sacrificed their lives to protect. Over time, this 7,000-acre expanse has become more than just land; it’s an embodiment of their cherished sanctuary.
In challenging circumstances with intense competition, Beth and Rip make necessary adjustments to ensure their survival. At the same time, they aim to help Carter grow into the person he’s destined to become.
As a die-hard fan, I’ve got to say that Yellowstone has spawned two amazing prequels – 1883 and 1923. Both these shows take us on a journey back in time, painting vivid pictures of the past.
Currently, since the original show has concluded, a total of five continuation series are underway at different phases of production and planning. Among them is “The Madison” starring Michelle Pfeiffer, and “Y: Marshals” with Luke Grimes portraying Kayce Dutton. Both these shows, along with “The Dutton Ranch”, appear to be set in the contemporary era.
Two more shows underway are titled “6666,” taking place in contemporary times, and “1944,” a follow-up to “1923” that unfolds in historical settings.
Yellowstone is available to stream on Paramount+.
